There is no APPSC answer key for Group-I 2026 yet, because the Screening Test under Notification No. 07/2026 is on 24 January 2027. Under the notification, the Commission publishes the initial key on its website after the test and accepts objections within three days of publication, at Rs.100/- per objection.

How APPSC handles answer keys across its exams

APPSC posts the initial and final keys of its objective tests on the Keys & Objections page, recruitment by recruitment. For the 17 notifications examined from 27 January 2026 to 31 January 2026, the initial keys were hosted on 3 February 2026 and objections were taken online from 5 February 2026 to 7 February 2026. Objections sent by post, WhatsApp, SMS, phone or individual submission are not considered.

Objection rules under Notification 07/2026

  • Objections to the initial key or to a question must be filed within three days after the initial key is published, in the prescribed proforma on the website; late objections are not entertained.
  • The fee is Rs.100/- per objection. If an objection is genuine and sustained in the final analysis, the amount is reimbursed.
  • Objections are examined by referring them to three subject experts, and the key finalised on the Commission's decision is final; no further objections are taken.
  • The question paper is set in English and translated into Telugu; the English version is authentic for valuation.
  • If a question is deleted, that part of the paper is scaled up to the maximum marks and the marks are rounded off to 2 decimals.

How to work out your Group-I Screening Test score

Paper-I (General Studies) has 120 questions for 120 marks in 120 minutes, and Paper-II (General Aptitude) has 120 questions for 120 marks in 120 minutes. Under G.O.Ms. No.235, each wrong answer is penalised with 1/3rd of the marks prescribed for the question. Match your answers with the key for your booklet series, add the marks for correct answers and subtract the penalty for wrong ones. The Screening Test only shortlists: candidates admitted to the Mains number 50 times the vacancies, and the final merit rests on the Mains and the Interview.

Group-II follows the same pattern but with objective papers at both stages: under Brief Notification 37/2026 the Screening Test is one paper of 150 questions for 150 marks, and the Mains are two papers of 150 marks each, all with the same 1/3rd penalty. The Keys & Objections page accordingly carries both Screening Test and Mains keys for Group-II 11/2023.

What happens after the final key

For Notification 12/2023 the final keys and the Screening Test result were both published on 12 April 2024. For Notification 28/2022 the final keys and the Screening Test result both came on 27 January 2023.
