AP TET June 2026 final answer keys are out, and the Special TET for in-service teachers is now at the initial-key stage: its initial keys are posted, the official schedule gives objections from 25 October to 1 November 2026, and the final key is due on 10 November 2026. Both are on the TET portal, tet2dsc.apcfss.in.
Where to find the AP TET 2026 keys
On the tet2dsc.apcfss.in home page, open TET-August-2026 and then APTET-2026 Answer Key. The table lists 65 papers by paper, medium, date and shift, for example "SGT IA TELUGU 10th Aug 2026 Shift 1", with an Initial Key and a Final Key column. Keys are listed shift by shift, so pick the line for your own date and shift. The Special TET-2026 tile has its own Answer Key list, at present with the Initial Key column only.
How objections are handled
- Objections are taken only on the initial key and only within the scheduled window: 25 to 31 August 2026 for the June exam, and 25 October to 1 November 2026 for the Special TET.
- The subject expert committee constituted by SCERT, the State Academic Authority, is the final authority on objections.
- No objection is entertained on the final key.
Working out your score
All questions are multiple choice with four options and one mark each, and there is no negative marking, so your raw score is the number of answers that match the final key for your shift, out of 150. To pass, OC/EWS candidates need 90 marks (60%), BC candidates 75 marks (50%), and SC, ST, PwBD and Ex-Servicemen 60 marks (40%).
For both the June 2026 exam and the Special TET the raw score is not the final figure. Because the tests ran in many shifts, both information bulletins apply a normalisation formula that scales each shift using the average of the top 0.1% of candidates and the mean plus standard deviation of marks, both for the shift and across all shifts, worked to 5 decimal places. Your normalised mark can therefore differ from your raw count.
Why the score matters after the key
A pass is not the end of it for regular candidates. AP TET scores carry a 20% weightage in the State Government's Teacher Recruitment Test, with the written test making up the other 80%. The DSC-2026 brief notification for 2,721 teacher posts was issued on 13 October 2026, with the detailed notification due on or before 3 November 2026. A Special TET pass, by contrast, counts only for in-service teachers continuing in or being promoted from their posts, and cannot be used for direct recruitment.
