The application form for Assistant Prosecuting Officer (APO) releases through the website of the Commission only. Candidates can apply online by visiting bpsc.bih.nic.in and following the procedure as described below. Refer to the steps below to know the process for online application.
How to apply?
- Visit the official website of the Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC), bpsc.bih.nic.in.
- Click on the ‘apply online’ link present on the right side of the home page of the website.
- Again click on the ‘BPSC online application’ link.
- The link to start the registration is now displayed on the screen. Click on that.
- Fill all the necessary details of BPSC APO registration. Hit the submit button.
- Use the username and password to log in and fill the application form.
- Proceed to pay the application fee and take at least 02 print out of the application form.

Selection Process Of BPSC APO Recruitment 2020
A three stage selection process is adopted by the Bihar Public Service Commission for the selection of candidates. Each stage is described below.
Preliminary exam: A first stage screening exam is conducted for all applicants and is known as the preliminary exam. Candidates are required to pass in the exam which consists of two papers of 100 and 150 marks respectively. However, this exam is only qualifying in nature and the marks are not considered for the final selection. Candidates who qualify through the Prelims are eligible to appear in the Main exam.
Main exam: The Main exam consists of 07 descriptive type question papers leading to a total of 900 marks. Candidates must take the test for all the papers and qualify in the exam to become eligible for the final round.
Final interview: This is the final stage of selection in which candidates who are shortlisted from the Main exam can appear. It carries a total of 100 marks. Candidates passing the final interview are shortlisted for appointment into the advertised vacancies.
