Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has released the official notification for the 65th Combined Competitive Exam (Mains) 2020. Qualifiers from the Prelims are invited to apply for the Mains before the last date as per the notice/detailed advertisement released online. Application Form of BPSC 65th CCE 2020

The application process of BPSC 65 Combined (Main) Competitive Examination is conducted in two phases. The initial applications are for the Prelims exam and all eligible candidates can apply for the Prelims. The second stage of application is conducted after the Prelims and it is for the Mains exam. Only those who qualify in the Prelims can apply for the Mains. The candidates have to fill the application form and submit the specified fee before the specified last date. A link is activated on the official website of the conducting body for the online application and payment process during the schedule of application.

Eligibility Criteria of BPSC 65th CCE 2020

Candidates must be compliant with the minimum eligibility conditions as specified in the official advertisement. The eligibility conditions are specified in terms of the educational qualification and age range to apply. Educational Qualification

Candidate should have completed Graduation or equivalent from a recognized university.

Age Limit

  • For unreserved Category – Age should not be greater than 37 years for Males and 40 years for Females.
  • For OBC (Male & Female) Category – Age should not be greater than 40 years.
  • For SC / ST (Male & Female) Category – Age should not be greater than 42 years.
  • Minimum age should be 20 years for Bihar Police Service, District Commandant, and Product.
  • Minimum age should be 22 years for the rest of the post.

Physical Ability (For Bihar Police & District Commandant)

  • Height –
    • For Others Not at least 5 ft 5 inches.
    • For SC / ST at least 5 ft 3 inches.
    • For Females at least 5 ft 2 inches.
  • Chest (without expansion)-
    • For Others at least 32 inches.
    • For SC / ST at least 31 inches.

Selection Process of BPSC 65th CCE 2020

The complete selection process for recruitment through the BPSC 65th CCE 2020 exam consist of the following three stages.

  • Preliminary Examination
  • Mains Examination
  • Interview

Candidates shortlisted after the application process have to appear in the preliminary examination. Eligible applicants are issued admit cards to appear in the Preliminary Examination. Date and the venue of the Preliminary Examination are given on the Admit Card and after the exam, the results are published through the official website. One must note that the Prelims are only qualifying in nature and used for the initial screening of candidates.

Candidates who will qualify the Preliminary Examination become eligible to go for the second round, i.e. Mains Examination. One has to reapply for the Mains exam after qualifying in the Prelims. At the time of filing of the application, candidates have to choose one subject from the given subjects for Mains Examination.

Candidates who will qualify the Main Examination are called for the final interview. The final selection of the candidates will be based on the performance of the candidates in the Preliminary Examination, Mains Examination, and Interview.
