Recruitment under BPSC
Bihar Public Service Commission recruits candidates for various government jobs through two methods – Direct Recruitment and Promotion based. Let us have a look at these two methods of recruitment.
- Direct Recruitment – The process of direct recruitment involves mainly the commencement of the competitive examination. In this, the selection is made on the basis of the following procedures:
- Preliminary, Main (written) examination and interview round
- Written exam and interview
- Promotion – For some posts, candidates are recruited through promotion. The Departmental Promotion Committee grant promotion to eligible civil servants.

BSPC Admit Card
For each recruitment, BPSC releases the admit card online. Aspirants can download it by visiting the website, bpsc.bih.nic.in. Reaching the website, candidates get the link to download BPSC admit card on the home screen of the website. Call letters can be downloaded with the help of the username and password. BPSC Hall Tickets plays a crucial role in the verification of the candidates in the exam centre. So, BPSC has made it mandatory to carry BPSC admit cards to the exam centre with photo identity proof.
To begin the preparation of any examination, the syllabus has always been helpful. Considering this fact, BPSC releases the syllabus for various recruitments online. If aspirants visit the website, they are able to notice the ‘syllabus’ tab present at the left side of the screen. After clicking on that, BPSC syllabus PDF displays on the screen. Candidates can download the same and begin their preparation for the exam. In the BPSC syllabus PDF, candidates get an insight into the type of questions that are asked in the exam.
