CGPSC 2020 – Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission has announced the exam date of CGPSC State Service mains exam at psc.cg.gov.in. CGPSC State Service Mains Exam Date Announced!
Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission has released the mains exam date of State Service Exam 2020. The notice regarding the same has been uploaded on the official website, psc.cg.gov.in. The exam is now scheduled to take place on October 18-21, 2020. The admit card for CGPSC State Service mains exam 2020 can be made available on October 08, 2020 at the official website.

CGPSC 2020 Mains Exam Postponed
Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission has postponed the main examination of CGPSC State Service Exam 2020 which was scheduled to be held on June 17, 18, 19 and 20, 2020. Due to the nationwide lockdown imposed for the prevention and control of noval coronavirus disease, the state service mains exam stands postponed. New exam date will be published separately on the official website.
CGPSC 2020 Admit Card
The commission releases the CGPSC 2020 admit card thrice, which is separately for each stage. Firstly, the CGPSC admit card for the preliminary examination is released. For all the qualified candidates in prelims who apply for the mains examination before the last date are issued with the CGPSC 2020 admit card for mains examination. After that admit card is released for the candidates who have qualified the mains examination as well. This admit card is released for the interview / personality test.
The admit card is made available at the official website (psc.cg.gov.in). The candidates can download the admit card by entering the login credentials such as user id and password. The hard copy of the admit card is to be carried at the examination centre on the day of the exam. Non production of the admit card on the exam day will lead to the denial in the entry of the candidate.
CGPSC SSE 2020 Exam Pattern
The CGPSC State Service Exam consist of three stages. Candidates qualifying in the first stage gets eligible for the second one. Candidates qualifying the second stage are eligible for the third stage of the CGPSC 2020. Candidates can check the three stages as mentioned below.

Scheme of Preliminary Examination

CGPSC 2020 Answer Key
CGPSC releases the answer key for State Service Exam after the exam has been conducted successfully. The CGPSC answer key is only released for the preliminary examination. No answer key is released for the mains examination as the mains examination is a descriptive exam. The CGPSC answer key is made available on the official website of the commission. Candidates can evaluate their score using the official answer key released by the commission. Candidates need to calculate the score using the marking scheme and the evaluation of correct and wrong responses in the
The candidates have to enter the login credentials for downloading the answer key. With help of the answer key, the candidates will able to estimate the marks.
CGPSC 2020 Result
After conducting the prelims, mains and interview by the CGPSC, the result of each stage is released seperately by the commission. At first, it releases the result for the preliminary examination. Candidates qualifying the preliminary examination are eligible for the mains examination. Then after conduction of main, the result for the main examination is declared. A final result is compiled after the interview or the personality test has been conducted. The Commission declares the result on its official website (psc.cg.gov.in). The result releases in the form of pdf, candidates need to check their name in the pdf in order to know the qualifying status. After the final result, the selected candidates have to join the services as per their choice.
CGPSC 2020 Selection Process
Candidates appearing for the CGPSC need to know that they need to appear for three stages in the entire selection process. All the candidates qualifying all the three stages will be considered for recruitment through CGPSC 2020. Three stages in the CGPSC State Service Exam 2020 selection process includes the following.

The candidates should note that the marks obtained by them in paper 2 of prelims will not be added the in the final result. However, the marks obtained in the first paper of prelims may be added while preparing the final merit list. The prelims examination is a screening test for the candidates.

CGPSC 2020 Eligibility Criteria
The candidates who meet the eligibility criteria of CGPSC State Service Examination are able to apply.
Nationality: All the candidates having an Indian nationality are eligible for the application.
Age Limit: The candidates who are in the age bar of 21 to 35 years are eligible to apply. Except for the post of Deputy Superintendent of police, for this post, the age limit is 21 to 28. However, age relaxation is also applicable here. Candidates need to calculate their age as on January 1, 2019.
Age Relaxation: The candidates of different categories should look at the age relaxation provided by the Commission.

Educational Qualification: The candidates should have a graduation degree in any discipline. The candidates who are appearing are also eligible to apply.

Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission conducts the Staff Sevice Examination (SSE) for the recruitment in multiple posts. The selection of candidates is done when they qualify the three stages in the selection process. Candidates need appear for the preliminary examination as the first stage of the selection.
