CGPSC State Service 2020 – Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission (CGPSC) has released the official notification for CGPSC State Service Exam. The application process for CGPSC 2020 State Service Exam starts from December 14, 2020. The prelims exam is scheduled for February 14, 2021. CGPSC 2020 mains exam will take place from June 18-21, 2021. The State Service Exam is conducted in two phases that are prelims and mains exam. CGPSC 2020 Eligibility Criteria
The candidates who meet the eligibility criteria of CGPSC State Service Examination are able to apply.
Nationality: All the candidates having an Indian nationality are eligible for the application.
Age Limit: The candidates who are in the age bar of 21 to 35 years are eligible to apply. Except for the post of Deputy Superintendent of police, for this post, the age limit is 21 to 28. However, age relaxation is also applicable here. Candidates need to calculate their age as on January 1, 2020.
Age Relaxation: The candidates of different categories should look at the age relaxation provided by the Commission.

Scheme of Preliminary Examination

CGPSC State Service Exam 2020 Admit Card

- The commission releases the CGPSC 2020 admit card thrice; which is separately for each stage.
- Firstly, the CGPSC admit card for the preliminary examination is released. For all the qualified candidates in prelims who apply for the mains examination before the last date are issued with the CGPSC 2020 admit card for mains examination. After that admit card is released for the candidates who have qualified the mains examination as well. This admit card is released for the interview/personality test.
- The candidates can download the admit card by entering the login credentials such as user id and password.
- A hard copy of the admit card is to be carried at the examination centre on the day of the exam. Those who fail to produce admit card on the exam day will lead to the denial in the entry of the candidate.

CGPSC 2020 Selection Process
Candidates appearing for the CGPSC need to know that they need to appear for three stages in the entire selection process. All the candidates qualifying all the three stages will be considered for recruitment through CGPSC 2020. Three stages in the CGPSC State Service Exam 2020 selection process includes the following.

CGPSC releases the answer key for State Service Exam after the exam has been conducted successfully. The CGPSC answer key is only released for the preliminary examination. No answer key is released for the mains examination as the mains examination is a descriptive exam. The CGPSC answer key is made available on the official website of the commission. Candidates can evaluate their score using the official answer key released by the commission. CGPSC State Service 2020 Result
After conducting the prelims, mains and interview by the CGPSC, the result of each stage is released seperately by the commission. At first, it releases the result for the preliminary examination. Candidates qualifying the preliminary examination are eligible for the mains examination. Then after conduction of main, the result for the main examination is declared. A final result is compiled after the interview or the personality test has been conducted. The Commission declares the result on its official website (psc.cg.gov.in). The result releases in the form of pdf, candidates need to check their name in the pdf in order to know the qualifying status. After the final result, the selected candidates have to join the services as per their choice.
