AFCAT Eligibility
AFCAT eligibility depends on the branch. Candidates must be Indian citizens and meet the age and educational standards below.
Age limit
- Flying Branch: 20 to 24 years.
- Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical): 20 to 26 years.
Educational qualification
| Branch | Qualification |

| Flying | Graduation (min. three-year degree) with at least 60%, and Maths & Physics at 10+2 with at least 50%. |
| Ground Duty (Technical) | A four-year engineering / technology degree with at least 60% in the notified streams (or equivalent). |
| Ground Duty (Non-Technical) | A graduate degree in any discipline with at least 60% (specific degrees apply for Administration, Logistics, Accounts, Education, Meteorology and Weapon Systems). |
