AFCAT Exam Pattern & Syllabus

The AFCAT syllabus covers four sections — General Awareness, Verbal Ability in English, Numerical Ability, and Reasoning & Military Aptitude — with 100 questions for 300 marks in 2 hours (+3 for a correct answer, −1 for a wrong one). Candidates applying for the Ground Duty (Technical) branch also take the EKT (Engineering Knowledge Test) — 50 questions for 150 marks in 45 minutes, with separate papers for Mechanical, Computer Science and Electrical & Electronics streams.
