HSSC Group D Result 2018 – Staff Selection Commission Haryana, declared the HSSC Group D Result 2018 at hssc.gvo.in on January 19, 2019. The result has been announced for the examination conducted on November 10, 11, 17, 18, 2018. How To Check HSSC Group D Result 2018?
The HSSC Group D result has been declared. So the candidates who have appeared in the examination can check the result through the above link with help of the following steps.
- At first click on the link which redirects to the pdf of the result.
- Now as the pdf contains the roll number of selected candidates and there is too many roll number so it’s not easy to check it manually.
- Hence press Ctrl + F and type your roll number. If the result is containing your roll number then it will be highlighted there.
Note: The result of HSSC Group D contains the roll number and marks of the candidates. Some of the candidates have been put into the waiting list who score near to the cut off marks but failed to cross the line.
What will happen With Those Candidates whose name is in the waiting list?
Such candidates who scored near to the cutoff marks but fail to secure equal or more than the cut off marks. The Commission has put their roll numbers into the waiting list.
These candidates will be given chance to join if the post remains vacant after all the joining formalities of selected candidates. These candidates may be called for the appointment if an exact number of candidates doesn’t appear to join. But then the criteria of marks for the selection will be applied again.
HSSC Result 2018 Group D Complete Details

For the purpose of selection, HSSC uses two components. They are,
- Written exam: 90 marks
- Socio-Economic criteria and experience: 10 marks
Written exam is conducted having 75% questions on general awareness, reasoning, maths, science, hindi, english, and 25% questions on Haryana’s history, current affairs, literature, geography, civics, environment, culture.
Socio Economic Criteria has certain components, on basis of which candidates get marks.
Case 1: If no persons from among the applicants father, mother, spouse, brothers, sons is, was or has been regular employee in any department / board / corporation / company / statutory body / commission / authority of government of Haryana or any other state government or government of India. – 5 Marks.
Case 2: Orphan / widow – Applicant is..
- .. widow, or
- .. first or second child and his father had died before attaining 42 years of age, or
- .. first or second child and his father had died before applicant had attained 15 years of age.
– 5 Marks.
Case 3: If applicant belong to such a denotified tribe (vimukt jatis and tapriwas jatis) or nomadic tribe of Haryana which is neither a scheduled caste nor a backward class. – 5 Marks.
Case 4: Experience: 0.5 marks for each year or part thereof exceeding 6 months of experience our of a maximum of 16 years on same or higher post in any department / board / corporation / company / statutory body / commission / authority of government of Haryana. Candidates will not het any marks for any period shorter than 6 months. – A Maximum Of 8 Marks.
It is likely that HSSC will ask candidates to attend scrutiny of documents. During documents scrutiny, candidates have to bring all original documents, set of self attested copies of all documents, ID proof, copy of downloaded HSSC Application Form 2018.
Candidates should also keep a copy of HSSC Group D Admit Card 2018 as it may be necessary at time of documents verification.
