MPSC's latest flagship result is the Rajyaseva (State Services) Prelims 2026, declared on 22 June 2026. The 2026 Main stage has been postponed. In the previous Rajyaseva cycle, the 2025 Mains written result came out on 25 August 2026, the interviews were postponed, and on 28 September 2026 MPSC decided to re-evaluate the 2025 Mains answer sheets. Among MPSC's other exams, the Group-B (Non-Gazetted) Prelims 2026 result was declared on 1 July 2026.
What kinds of results does MPSC publish?
The Candidate Information menu on mpsc.gov.in keeps each stage in its own list:
- Results of Examinations/Recruitment: Prelims and Mains results, published as lists of qualified candidates by roll or seat number, with the cut-off.
- Merit List and Provisional Selection List: the general merit list, and the provisional selection made after candidates give post preferences.
- Final Recommendation List and Recommendation from Waiting List: the names sent to government for appointment.
- Candidates scoring below qualifying marks: a separate list.
Combined exams get one result per service. The Civil Services Gazetted Prelims 2026, for example, had separate results for State Services and Veterinary Services on 22 June 2026, and for Civil Engineering Services on 23 June 2026.
How does MPSC rank candidates?
For the State Services exam, the Mains and interview marks are added together to make the merit list. Candidates then submit post preferences online, and a provisional selection list follows. The final recommendation list is issued after documents are checked. Some Group-C posts also need a typing skill test, with separate lists of qualified candidates. Ties in every MPSC exam are settled under the 12 September 2022 notice. The order is higher educational qualification, then the date of getting it, and so on down to older age and finally the surname.
Can you see your marks or answer sheet?
Yes, after each result. For objective Main exams, MPSC issues an announcement on the marks statement, scanned answer sheet and retotalling. It did this for the Group-C Mains 2024 Clerk-Typist post on 2 September 2026. For the descriptive State Services Mains 2025, candidates who did not reach the interview could apply for paid retotalling from 1 to 10 September 2026, through Online Facilities on mpsc.gov.in.
What changed after results in 2026?
Under MPSC's 13 May 2026 notice, the option to opt out of the recruitment process was cancelled for all competitive exams. As a result, there was no opting-out window for the State Services Mains 2025. In June and July 2026, MPSC also announced that the optional subject will be removed from the State Services Mains, with revised interview marks, from 2027.
