TNPSC Result

TNPSC publishes the result of each exam stage by stage on tnpsc.gov.in — the Preliminary result, the Main result and the final merit list after the last stage. Each result names the candidates who qualify for the next stage; the Commission also publishes cut-off marks and, after the recruitment, the candidates' marks.

How the final selection works

For Group 1 and Group 2 the final merit is drawn from the Mains and, where the post has one, the Interview; Group 4 is decided on the single written exam. TNPSC does not use negative marking. Posts are then allotted by merit rank and preference, subject to reservation.
