UPPSC PCS Cut Off
UPPSC PCS is a competitive exam, so its cut off is a merit cut-off — the minimum mark at which the last candidate in each category is shortlisted. It changes every year with the difficulty of the paper and the number of vacancies, and is published by the Commission after each stage. The year-wise cut-off marks are listed below.
Reading the UPPSC PCS cut off
The Preliminary cut off is decided only on General Studies Paper I (200 marks) — CSAT is a qualifying paper. Clearing it shortlists you for the Mains but does not count towards the final merit; the final selection cut off is set on the Mains-plus-Interview total (1,500 + 100), category by category.
Reserved-category Prelims cut-offs, and the Mains and final cut-offs, are published in the UPPSC result PDFs on uppsc.up.nic.in for each cycle.
