UPSSSC PET Answer Key 2026: Not Out Yet, Exam Ends 1 November

UPSSSC has not released an answer key for PET-2026 (Advertisement 16-Exam/2026), and cannot yet: the written exam is still in progress. The first exam day was 25 October 2026 and the remaining days are 30 October and 1 November 2026. When checked on 27 October 2026, the Commission's View / Download Answer Key page showed "0 : Record Found".

When is PET-2026 being held?

The schedule changed once. A notice of 9 September 2026 had fixed 23, 24 and 25 October 2026. The notice of 25 September 2026 moved the exam to 25 October (Sunday), 30 October (Friday) and 1 November 2026 (Sunday). Each day has two shifts, 10:00 AM to 12:00 noon and 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM. The district intimation notice of 12 October 2026 says the exam is spread over 60 districts of the state. Papers are still to be sat on 30 October and 1 November 2026.

Admit cards were released shift-date by shift-date

The notice of 17 October 2026 staggered the admit cards by exam date:

• Exam on 25 October 2026: admit card from 17 October 2026.
• Exam on 30 October 2026: admit card from 23 October 2026.
• Exam on 1 November 2026: admit card from 25 October 2026.

The download page asks for Candidate Registration No, date of birth, gender and a verification code. Admit cards can also be fetched through the Commission's Android app or the link sent to your registered email. Keep your registration number safe: the Applicant's Dashboard also logs in with the PET registration number.

Where will the PET answer key appear?

On upsssc.gov.in, the homepage's Important GO/Downloads section links to "Download Answer Key", and candidate services run through "Applicant's Dashboard (Login Thru PET Reg.No.)". Watch the Notice Board for a PET-2026 notice. The Commission has not published any answer-key or objection schedule for PET-2026 so far.

For a sense of how UPSSSC words such notices, its notice of 30 June 2025 for a different exam (the Junior Assistant, Junior Clerk and Assistant Level-III Mains held on 29 June 2025) posted a provisional key on the website and kept it online until 6 July 2025. The PET-2026 notice may set different terms, including how objections are taken, so rely on it rather than on past practice.

Why your PET score matters after the key

PET is UPSSSC's Preliminary Eligibility Test, and the Commission's current Mains exams are advertised and shortlisted on PET-2025, as its notice board shows. The Commission's notice board shows this in action with PET-2025 scores:

• The Mains advertisements 22-Exam/2026 (Sports Directorate), 24-Exam/2026 and 25-Exam/2026 (Junior Engineer) and 26-Exam/2026 (Intermediate-level) are all marked as built on PET-2025.
• On 12 October 2026 the Commission published the list of candidates shortlisted for the Ganna Paryavekshak Mains (PET-2025)/14.

Because these Mains shortlists are drawn from PET scores, check the provisional key line by line once it is out. The Commission also issued a notice on 22 September 2026 on Aadhaar verification of candidates in its future examinations.
