UPPSC has not yet published an answer key for the Swasthya Shiksha Adhikari (Health Education Officer) Screening Exam-2025: when checked on 29 October 2026, the Commission's View Answer Key page showed 0 records. The screening test was scheduled for 4 October 2026, from 9:30 to 11:30 AM, for 221 posts under Advertisement D-6/E-1/2025. The advertisement lists "View Answer Key" in the Candidate's Help Desk section of uppsc.up.nic.in.
How the HEO screening test is marked
The exam-scheme notice of 15 April 2026 and the Advertisement No. D-6/E-1/2025 give these rules:
- One paper of 150 objective multiple-choice questions, 2 hours.
- Each question carries 3 marks; the paper totals 450 marks.
- Part I, General Studies: 50 questions, 150 marks. Part II, Social Science subject knowledge: 100 questions, 300 marks.
- Every question has four alternatives.
- For each wrong answer, one third (0.33) of the marks assigned to that question is deducted.
- Marking more than one answer counts as wrong, even if one of the marked answers is correct, and attracts the same penalty.
- A question left blank carries no penalty.
Checking your score against the key
- When the key is out, match each question on your record of the paper with the key.
- Give 3 marks for each correct answer.
- For each wrong or multiple-marked answer, subtract one third of that question's marks; give nothing for blanks.
- Compare your total with the minimum efficiency standard: 35% for SC and ST candidates and 40% for other categories. Candidates below it are treated as disqualified.
The Commission evaluates the OMR answer sheet only on the basis of the circles blackened on it, so your score depends on what was darkened on the sheet, not on rough work.
What the answer key leads to
Only candidates who qualify in the screening test, as per the Commission's standard, are called for the 50-mark interview. Final merit adds 75% of the screening marks and 25% of the interview marks, so the screening score carries most of the weight in selection.
Reserved-category candidates are adjusted against unreserved posts in the final selection only if they took no concession in the qualifying standard at the screening stage.
