RRC Group D Medical Exam 2019: Eligibility Conditions
It is crucial for the students to know the eligibility criteria for the RRC Group D Medical Test 2019. Check the details given below to get an idea of who all are eligible for medical fitness examination.
- Based upon the candidate’s performance in CBT, followed by the PET which is qualifying in nature, eligible candidates who are called for the document verification are shortlisted for the medical exam.
- Those applicants who have a flat foot, glasses, knock knee, squint eyes, color blindness, and other bodily impairments are ineligible for the final appointment.
Note: Applicants found out medically unsuitable for the post applied are not going to get any alternative appointment.
RRC Group D Medical Standards 2019

- A2: Physically fit in all aspects, Visual standards – Distance Vision: 6/9, 6/9 without specs (No fogging test). Near Vision: Sn: 0.6, 0.6 without glasses must pass the tests of colored vision, binocular vision, mesopic vision, and night vision.
- A3: Physically fit in all aspects, Visual standards – Distance Vision: 6/9, 6/9 without specs (Lens POwer not more than 2D). Near Vision: Sn: 0.6, 0.6 with or without glasses must pass the tests of colored vision, binocular vision, mesopic vision, and night vision.
- B1: Physically fit in all aspects, Visual standards – Distance Vision: 6/9, 6/12 with or without specs (Power of the lenses should not be more than 4D). Near Vision: Sn: 0.6, 0.6 with or without glasses while reading doing some close work and must clear the tests of colored vision, binocular vision, mesopic vision, and night vision.
- B2: Physically fit in all aspects, Visual standards – Distance Vision: 6/9, 6/12 with or without specs (Power of the lenses should not be more than 4D). Near Vision: Sn: 0.6, 0.6 with or without glasses while reading doing some close work and must clear the tests of binocular vision.
- C1: Physically fit in all aspects, Visual standards – Distance Vision: 6/12, 6/18 with or without glasses. Near Vision: Sn: 0.6, 0.6 with or without glasses while reading or doing some close work.
- C2: Physically fit in all aspects, Visual standards – Distance Vision: 6/12 or Nil with or without glasses. Near Vision: Sn: 0.6 combined with or without glasses while reading or doing some close work.

About RRC Group D Recruitment
The Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC) is conducting the RRC Group D 2019 recruitment for 103769 vacancies. The shortlisting of the candidates is a three-stage process which are CBT, Physical Test followed by the document verification. The board does not confirm the eligibility claims of the candidates at the time of filling of the application form. It carries out the verification and identification process of the candidate at the time of document verification. The candidates who clear all the stages are also required to pass the medical exam.
