How To Download SSC GD Constable Admit Card 2018 for CBT?
As the admit card is available in the online mode only on the regional websites of SSC. So the students must know the steps to download the admit card. Those steps are as follows.
- At first, the candidates should know their region, then they have to click on the respective regional links provided above.
- Thereafter the links redirect to the admit card page, where they have to click for the GD Constable admit card.
- Now on clicking on the admit card link the login window appear, here candidates have to enter the vital parameters, the candidates should know that the parameters may vary. Exam Pattern of SSC GD Constable 2018
There are 4 stages of examination. Students need to qualify all these stages in order to qualify for this recruitment.
Computer-Based Test (CBT)
AS the name suggests the examination will be held in Computer mode. The will have 100 MCQs of 100 marks. The candidates have to solve the exam in 90 minutes.
Each question carries 1 mark. Allocate marks on the basis of subjects. No negative marking.

Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
The qualifiers of the CBT will be called for the Physical Efficiency Test. CAPF will conduct this round. In PEt candidates have to perform some physical tasks mentioned below. Along with that, the physical measurement of the candidates will be measured.

Detailed Medical Examination
After qualifying the CBT and PET/PST the qualifiers will be called for the Detailed Medical examination. The medical condition of the candidates will be tested. The medical examination contains the following test.
- Urine Test
- Blood test
- Hemoglobin Test
- Blood pressure
Note: The candidate should note that SSC will conduct only CBT, rest three exam PET/PST, DME will be conducted by CAPF. On the basis of all these stages, the commission will finally prepare a Merit List.
How To Prepare for SSC GD Constable 2018 PET/PMT?
In the recruitment process of SSC GD, the candidates ahve to undergo the physical assessment. The candidates will be assessed by PMT and PET respectively. The candidates have to perform some physical tasks in the exam such as race, high jump, long jump etc. But in the case of GD, the candidates have to perform only one task i.e. Race. The specification of the test is provided above. Now there is too much time for the preparation as there is only one physical task which has to be performed.
Make a schedule
Only Running fast is not sufficient your body should be fit in all manner. For this, the candidates have to create a proper plan. It is advisable to make the morning and evening plan.
- For beginners they should do some warm-up exercise first, then they can start running.
- At starting they should run slowly, jogging will be good options, after 10 to 15 minutes they should increase there speed.
- Start with 30 minutes in the morning and evening. Later increase this.
- At last, it is must to do some stretching exercises.
Exercise Other than Running, To make the body stronger and increase Stamina
There are several options to make your body stronger and fit. The candidates who have a habit of running can go for more exercises.
- Skipping help to improve agility in body
- Climbing stairs
One can easily do this exercise without any thorough guidelines.
A proper meal is important to be fit and healthy. Generally called “Diet has 80% roll in your body fitness and rest can do the exercises”. So candidates who are appearing in the exam should have a proper diet.
Vegetarians can add milk products, sprouts and dry fruits, and fiber like whole grains, pulses and lots of green vegetable in their daily meal
Non-vegetarian has more options, eggs can be added in daily diets and it is also pocket-friendly. Other than this they can add fish, meat etc in their diet.
A night of proper 08-hour sleep is mandatory for a person to function well. If you are taking lesser sleep then you are ruining the body. So try to complete your sleeping hours.
SSC GD Constable Admit Card 2018 for PET/PMT
After the conduction of CBT, the result will be announced at ssc.nic.in. Then the qualifier will be issued the admit card for the PET/PMT. As of now, there are no dates for the conduction of PET/PMT. The SSC will release the dates after the written exam result. The candidates will be issued the call latter online. The candidates have to download the admit card by entering the vital parameter. SSC GD Constable Admit Card 2018 for Detailed Medical Examination
Likewise, CBT and PET/PMT the admit card for the DME will be issued to the qualifiers of the previous stage. The admit card will be available on the regional website of SSC. Important Instructions To be Followed After Downloading SSC GD Constable Admit Card 2019
In order to take the CBT for SSC GD Constable 2018, candidates must follow some instructions. These important instructions are listed below.
- Students must carry all the above items.
- Candidates must not carry any electronic gadgets such as Mobile phones, calculators, pagers etc.
- Do not bring any kind of chits or paper other than admit card and ID proof.
- Reach at least an hour prior to the examination.
- Outstation candidates must make their own travel arrangements.

The Staff Selection Commission has released the notification of Constable General Duty for 54,953 vacancies. The application process ran for more than a month.
