Manipur TET Eligibility

Paper II — Middle stage (classes VI–VIII)
Any one of the following (as per NCTE norms):
- Graduation and a 2-year D.El.Ed.
- Graduation with at least 50% and a B.Ed (or 45% as per NCTE regulations).

Relaxation
A relaxation of up to 5% in the qualifying marks of the minimum educational qualification is allowed for SC, ST, OBC and Differently Abled candidates, as notified by NCTE. Teacher-education courses must be recognised by the NCTE (or RCI for Special Education). A person pursuing a teacher-education course may appear, but the TET certificate is valid only on passing that course.
Qualifying the Manipur TET does not by itself confer a right to appointment; the recruiting authority verifies full eligibility at the time of appointment.
