Manipur TET Exam Pattern & Syllabus
The Manipur TET is a test of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), each with four options and carrying one mark. There is no negative marking. Each paper has 150 questions for 150 marks and a duration of two-and-a-half hours (150 minutes).
Paper I — Primary stage (classes I–V)

Languages
Language II is a Modern Indian Language chosen from the list notified by the Board of Secondary Education, Manipur — such as Manipuri, Hindi, Bengali, Nepali, Tangkhul, Hmar, Mizo, Mao, Kom, Vaiphei, Paite, Ruangmei, Zou, Thadou Kuki, Anal, Gangte, Liangmei, Maram, Maring, Poula, Sanskrit, Simte or Zeme — or English (in lieu of a Modern Indian Language). Language I is the medium/first language paper.
The questions are based on the topics prescribed in the Board of Secondary Education, Manipur textbooks for the relevant classes, with the difficulty level going up to the Secondary stage. The full official Manipur TET 2026 syllabus is available as a free PDF below.
