UP PCS 2018 – Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) is conducting the Provincial Civil Services i. e. UP PCS 2018 exam on October 28, 2018. UP PCS 2018 also called UPPSC Upper Subordinate exam. The examination dates are out now. The exam has been rescheduled. Earlier the exam was supposed to held on August 19, 2018. Now the exam will hold on October 28, 2018.

Admit Card for UP PCS 2018
After processing the application forms of candidates, UPPSC has issued the admit card to those who have a proper qualification, and eligible for the post. And their application forms are also correct. UPPSC has uploaded the admit cards on uppsc.up.nic.in. The candidates who have applied for the post can download their admit card by visiting the official website, or through the same page. The candidates can download the admit card using the basic credentials. Admit card is mandatory for the purpose of the exam, so candidates must carry the admit card in the exam hall. The commission will issue the admit card three phase of exams, i. .e first of all for prelims, then for mains and a last for an interview.

Eligibility Criteria for UP PCS 2018
The candidates who are applying for the UP PCS should satisfy the sort of conditions set by the Commission.
Nationality: The citizen of India is eligible to apply.
- The permitted age bar is for UP PCS Recruitment is 21 to 40 years on July 01, 2018.
- But for the post of Principal, in Government Intermediate College the candidate should between 30 to 40 years.

- For the post of Sub Registrar, Assistant Prosecuting Officer (Transport) Graduation in Law is mandatory.
- The candidates who will apply for District Basic Shiksha Adhikari / Associate DIOS and Other equivalent administrative posts, District Administrative Officer such candidates must have Post Graduate Degree.
- For District Cane Officer, U.P. Agriculture Service Group “B” (Development Branch) the candidate must have post graduation degree.

Application Form for UP PCS 2018
After checking the eligibility the candidates who found themselves eligible applied for the post of ACF or RFO. The application form was available on the official website of Commission i. e. uppsc.up.nic.in. The only mode of applying was online, apart from this UPPSC doesn’t introduce any secondary method. Examination Pattern for UP PCS 2018
Let’s get started with the exam pattern for Utter Pradesh Provincial Civil Service. The entire examination scheme is divided into three parts Prelims, Mains and Interview.

- Optional subjects will have 02 sections which consist of fours questions, and the candidate has to attempt five question in all.

The interview will carry 100 marks, the mains aim for conducting the interview is to assess the general awareness, intelligence, and suitability towards the service.
Answer Key for UP PCS 2018 Exam
After conduction of the exam, UPPSC will release the answer key. Here one thing should be noted that Commission will release the answer key for prelims exam. Because only prelims exam is objective type and the main exam is written conventional type. Hence the candidates who will appear for the prelims will able to check their answer key for the paper. By answer key, the candidates can check their marked answer and can estimate the score. With help of answer key, the candidates can predict their selection in mains. Result for UP PCS 2018
After releasing the answer key the Commission will declare the result for prelims. However, UPPSC will release the result in three stages, which are Prelims, Mains, and Final Interview result. In order to fetch the result, the candidates have to enter the basic credentials to check their result. UPPSC will release the result on its official website i. e. uppsc.up.nic.in. The only mode of downloading/checking the result is online.
Selection Process of UP PCS 2018
Now the candidates have to understand the selection process of UPPSC. The selection of the candidate is entirely provisional till the final selection. The commission designed the selection process into three stages. Tho0se stages also have the conditions.
The process of Selection in Prelims of UP PCS 2018
The first stage is prelims and the candidates have to obtain the minimum qualifying marks in order to crack this stage. As the preliminary exam is divided into two parts, Paper- I & II, the second Paper of Prelims is qualifying in nature, and to qualify the Paper – I the candidates have to score 33% minimum.
The minimum qualifying score in Mains
The candidate has to score minimum to qualify in the paper of general Hindi, as well as in the rest of the papers.
At last, the qualifiers of pre and main, have to clear the interview.
After selection, the aspirants have the candidates will be paid as per the pay scale decided by the Government of India. The pay scale is of Rs. 9300-34800 Grade Pay Rs 4600/- to Rs. 15600-39100/- Grade Pay Rs. 5400/- except for the Naib Tehsildar whose grade pay is Rs. 4200/-. This pay scale is applicable to all the post for which recruitment is conducted.
