UPPSC PCS Exam Selection Procedure 2022
The UP PCS Exam Selection Procedure is mentioned below in this section:
- Preliminary Exam: The prelims exam consists of 2 papers. Only those candidates who qualify the prelims exam will be eligible to appear for the mains exam. To qualify the prelims exam candidates need to score 40% and 33% marks in paper 1 and paper 2 respectively. Candidates qualifying prelims exam have to submit mains application form.
- Main Exam: The candidates who pass the prelims exam appear for the mains exam. There are 6 compulsory and 2 optional papers present in the mains exam.
- Personal Interview: Candidates who qualify the mains exam are further invited for the personal interview round. Candidates need to show certain documents for verification purposes.
