AFCAT 2/2019
AFCAT 2/2019 shortlisted candidates now have to undego with AFCAT AFSB (Air Force Selection Board) Testing. It will be held in two stages – Stage- I and Stage-II. Stage-I is a screening test. Those who qualify this are eligible to undergo Stage -II testing. Disqualified candidates are routed back after announcement of results. AFCAT 2/2019 Result
Indian Air Force has released the result of AFCAT and EKT, for the candidates who appeared in the examination. The result is available at the official website at afcat.cdac.in in candidate login section. The result is based on the marks scored by the candidates. Candidates who are short-listed on the basis of Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT / EKT) that candidate will be called for further testing at one of the Air Force Selection Boards (AFSBs).
AFCAT 2/2019 Admit Card
Candidates can download ther Admit Card from the website and you also receive admit card on your registered email ID. The AFCAT 2/2019 Admit Card contains details of the candidate and exam, like- name, date, timing, an address of the exam center, a name of the exam, etc. Candidate needs to bring the one valid ID proof (Pan Card, Adhar Card, Voter ID Card, Passport, etc) and a hard copy of AFCAT Admit Card on the day of the examination.

AFCAT 2/2019 Eligibility Criteria
Before filling the AFCAT application form candidate should go through the eligibility criteria first as if the candidate will be founded ineligible at any further stages than that candidate will be disqualified from the further process. Candidate can go through the eligibility criteria mentioned below-
Nationality: Candidate should hold Indian Citizenship.
Age:
- Flying Branch through AFCAT and NCC Special Entry: 20 to 24 years as on 01 July 2020 i.e. born between 02 July 1996 to 01 July 2000 (both dates inclusive). Upper age limit for candidates holding valid and current Commercial Pilot License issued by DGCA (India) is relaxable up to 26 years i.e. born between 02 July 1994 to 01 July 2000 (both dates inclusive).
- Ground Duty (Technical/Non-Technical) Branches: 20 to 26 years as on 01 July 2020 i.e. born between 02 July 1994 to 01 Jul 2000 (both dates inclusive).
- Marital Status: Candidates below 25 years of age must be unmarried at the time of commencement of course. Widows/Widowers and divorcees (with or without encumbrances) below 25 years of age are also not eligible. A candidate who marries subsequent to the date of his application though successful at SSB or medical will not be eligible for training. A candidate who marries during the period of training shall be discharged and will be liable to refund all expenditure incurred on him by the Government. Married candidates above 25 years of age are eligible to apply but during training period they will neither be provided married accommodation nor can they live out with family.
Educational Qualifications for Flying Branch
- Candidate should have passed 12th standard by scoring a minimum aggregate of 60% marks each in Maths and Physics.
- Candidate should be graduated in any discipline (3 years course, 04 years course BE/B. Tech) by scoring a minimum aggregate of 60% marks.
- A candidate who has cleared Section A & B examination of Associate Membership of Institute Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India from a recognized University with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent.
Educational Qualifications for Ground Duty (Technical) Branch (Electronics and Mechanical Engineering)
- Candidate should have passed 12th standard by scoring a minimum aggregate of 60% marks in each of the mentioned subjects (Physics and Mathematics).
- Candidate should have passed graduation/post graduation level in Engineering/ Technology by scoring a minimum aggregate of 60% marks.
- For Electronics Branch: A candidate who has cleared Section A & B examination of Associate Membership of Institute Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India or Graduate membership examination of the Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers by actual studies with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent in the following disciplines:-

Educational Qualifications for Ground Duty (Non-Technical) Branches
For Administration & Logistics:
- Candidate should be graduated in any field (3 years course)by scoring a minimum aggregate of 60% marks.
- A candidate who has cleared Section A & B examination of Associate Membership of Institute Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India from a recognized University with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent.
For Education
- MBA/ MCA or MA/ MSc degree in English/ Physics/ Mathematics/ Chemistry/ Statistics/ International relations/ International Studies/ Defence Studies/ Psychology/ Computer Science/ IT/ Management/ Mass Communication/ Journalism/ Public Relation with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate of all papers put together in Post-Graduation (Minimum two years programme) and 60% marks in graduation, (both recognized by UGC/ Competent Accreditation Authority).
- For integrated courses (single degree without permission to exit and lateral entry), the minimum duration must be as per prevailing UGC guidelines with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate of all papers put together.
Eligibility for NCC Special Entry (Flying Branch)
- NCC Air Wing Senior Division ‘C’ certificate acquired on or after 02 Dec 17 is mandatory.
- Candidate should have passed 12th standard by scoring a minimum aggregate of 60% marks each in Maths and Physics.
- Candidate should be graduated (3 years course, 04 years BE/B. Tech) by scoring a minimum aggregate of 60% marks.
- Candidates who have cleared Section A & B examination of Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India from a recognised University with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent.
AFCAT 2/2019 Application Form
In the application, form candidates were needed to fill the Personal Details, Educational Details, Communication Details, Other Details. The candidates who have submitted the form before the last date those forms have been accepted only.
- Application Form Fee for AFCAT: Rs 250/- (non-refundable) for AFCAT entry (not applicable for NCC special entry and Meteorology).
Payment: Application Fee were paid by using online mode (Credit Card, Debit Card, Internet Banking).
