IBPS Clerk eligibility. A degree in any discipline from a university recognised by the Government of India, or an equivalent qualification recognised as such by the Central Government. The candidate must hold a valid mark sheet or degree certificate on the day they register, and must indicate the percentage of marks obtained. Computer literacy is essential: operating and working on a computer is a requirement, and a certificate, diploma or degree in computer operations, or Computer Science studied as a subject, must be produced. Proficiency in the official language of the State or Union Territory applied for is essential. The age limit is 20 to 28 years as on 1 August 2025.

Nationality
A candidate must be a citizen of India, or a subject of Nepal or Bhutan, or a Tibetan refugee who came to India before 1 January 1962, or a person of Indian origin who has migrated from certain specified countries with the intention of permanently settling in India.
