Document verification
Originals are checked against everything declared in the application — qualification, category, age and any relaxation claimed. Certificates must be in the prescribed formats and dated on or before the closing date of the application. A candidate found ineligible at this point loses the candidature regardless of score.
You choose English or Hindi, not both
The Main Examination offers the language paper as either English or Hindi and you sit one of the two, for the same 40 questions and 40 marks. Both count identically toward the 200-mark total, so pick the one you write faster in rather than the one you think looks better.
