The IBPS RRB Office Assistant 2026 call letter is not out yet: as of 27 October 2026 the newest item on IBPS's CRP RRBs-XV page is the vacancy corrigendum dated 25 September 2026. The detailed notification schedules the Preliminary call-letter download for November/December 2026, and IBPS's Tentative Calendar of 16 January 2026 lists the Office Assistant Preliminary exam for 6, 12 and 13 December 2026 and the Main exam for 30 January 2027.

Where do you download the IBPS RRB Office Assistant call letter?

Only from the official IBPS website. The CRP RRBs-XV notification says you open it by entering your Registration Number and Password/Date of Birth, and that no hard copy of the call letter or Information Handout will be sent by post or courier. The Information Handout, which carries the detailed exam instructions, is put up for download along with the call letter. IBPS may also email an intimation to your registered address, so keep that inbox active, but watch the CRP RRBs-XV page yourself.

The call letter is the document that tells you your centre, venue address, date and time. Office Assistant applicants chose exam centres within the State/UT they applied for, but IBPS may still allot a centre outside that State/UT, and no request for a change of centre is entertained. If you opted for Pre-Examination Training (offered online to a limited number of SC, ST, OBC, minority, ex-servicemen and PwBD Office Assistant applicants), the notification schedules it for November 2026.

What should you check on the call letter?

Check that your name matches your photo identity proof letter for letter: IBPS requires an ID bearing exactly the same name as the call letter and verifies you against the call letter and the attendance list. If you have changed your name, you must produce the original Gazette notification, marriage certificate or affidavit. Queries and complaints go through IBPS's grievance portal, cgrs.ibps.in.

What to carry and the exam-day rules

  • The call letter with your photograph pasted on it, plus one additional copy of the same photograph. Without either you will not be allowed to appear; IBPS advises keeping about 8 copies of the photo you uploaded, because later stages need it too.
  • An original photo ID and a photocopy: PAN Card, Passport, permanent Driving License, Voter's Card, Bank Passbook with photograph, Aadhaar/E-Aadhaar, college or employee ID, Bar Council ID, or a photo ID from a Gazetted Officer or People's Representative on letterhead. Ration Card and Learner's Driving License are not accepted.
  • Your photograph and right thumb impression may be captured and matched with the photo you uploaded or captured live, so do not change your appearance and wash off mehndi or stamped ink beforehand. IBPS may also run online Aadhaar verification.
  • Banned items include mobile phones, earphones, health bands, any watch, calculators, goggles, belts, caps, hair-pins, any metallic item and any eatable, opened or packed.

The Preliminary call letter is not collected at the venue: staff stamp it and your ID photocopy and hand them back. You must bring both to the Main exam with the Main call letter; without the stamped Preliminary call letter and ID copy you will not be allowed to sit the Main. Scribe users fill in scribe details online and bring the scribe declaration form, and the scribe must carry an original class 10th, 12th or degree certificate.

When does the Main exam call letter come?

Only candidates who clear the Preliminary exam get one: you must qualify in both tests by securing the minimum cut-off marks, and an adequate number in each category is shortlisted. The notification schedules the Main call-letter download for December 2026/January 2027, ahead of the Main exam tentatively set for 30 January 2027.
