Union Public Service Commission will be conducting the Combined Defense Services Examination for the year 2019. The examinations will be conducted twice in a year. The first exam will take place in the starting of the year. The CDS 1 Application Form 2019 will be available on the date given by the Commission. The application form for CDS will be available on the official website on the scheduled date. Candidates are advised to go through the important dates of the registration process. Candidates must submit the application process on time and not wait for the last date. Following are the important dates:

Application Fees

To apply for the UPSC CDS, the candidates have to fill the application and also pay a certain amount of money. Without the payment the registration will not be complete. SC/ ST candidates are exempted from payment of fee.

How to apply for UPSC CDS 1 2019

The application form of the UPSC CDS 1 will be available online only. Candidates don’t have to send the application forms by post. The application form will have two stages.

  • log on to the official website
  • Go to application form
  • Fill all the details like name, father’s name, date of birth, address etc
  • Upload scanned passport size photograph
  • Submit the application form
  • Candidates are advised to print the application form for future references

Candidates must keep passport size photograph and its size should be between 3 kb to 40 kb. Candidates must avoid submitting multiple applications. If a candidate submits more than one application form then the form with the higher Registration ID (RID) will be considered. The candidate must ensure that the higher RID form is complete with all the details. Candidates must write the correct mobile numbers and emails and the information relating to recruitment and selection will be sent through that means of contact only. Candidates must regularly check their emails for notifications related to the examination. Ensure that the @nic.in mails are not being sent in the spam folder.
