IBPS PO Result 2019
Candidates can download the result online on the official website (ibps.in). The result for IBPS PO is declared for different phases. The process will start with a declaration of the IBPS PO Prelims result. The candidate requires ‘Registration Number’ and ‘Password’ to check the result. The main result is declared to call candidates to appear for Interview process. After the Interview, the final result will be calculated on the basis of marks scored in mains and Interview.
IBPS PO Admit Card 2019
A candidate can download the admit card from the official website (ibps.in) using the registration number and password. IBPS will not issue a duplicate PO admit card again or send one through the post. Regular intimations will be rolled out by the IBPS regarding PO Exam through emails/sms. The admit card will be released for the preliminary exam, main exam and the Interview separately as per the schedule.

- Copy of the System generated Admit Card (in printed form).
- Photo-identity proof.
- Photocopy of the Photo-identity proof.
IBPS PO 2019 Application Form
Candidate need to apply online before the last date in the prescribed format. A valid and unique email Id and mobile number is mandatory to apply online. The candidates can fill the form at official website (ibps.in). The candidates must fill the application form using the browsers given here in the said versions only – Internet Explorer 9+, Google Chrome 30+, Firefox 20+.

Eligibility Criteria for IBPS PO 2019
Candidates appearing for IBPS PO 2019 examination need to ensure they fulfill the eligibility criteria. The eligibility need to be proved by the candidate by giving the supporting documents which will be scrutinized at the time of Interview. The eligibility criteria is given below.

A candidate must be fulfill the following citizenship criteria.

Age Criteria
When applying for IBPS PO 2019, a candidate needs to be between the age of 20 to 30 years (both included). One should be born not before August 02, 1989 and not later than August 01, 1999 (both dates inclusive).

Educational Qualification
Graduate in any discipline, from a recognized university, can apply for the IBPS PO 2019. Candidate must possess a valid mark sheet and degree on the day of document verification. The educational qualification given must be complete on or before August 28, 2019.
IBPS PO Pre-examination Training 2019
In association with Nodal Banks / Participating Organisations, the IBPS organizes pre-examination training. This training is only for students belonging to Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribes / Minority Communities. Candidates need to specify the requirement while filling the IBPS PO online application. As such the training is free of cost but IBPS or participating banks will not bear candidate’s expenses related to traveling, boarding, lodging, and more.

The preliminary and main exam will both be online exam and will be conducted by the IBPS, whereas Interviews will be conducted by the participating organisations and the Nodal banks. The complete exam pattern is given below.

Books and Preparation Tips for IBPS PO 2019
The candidates need to prepare for preliminary and main examination with different approach. The preliminary exam is more of a aptitude test whereas the main exam is more focused on banking and computational knowledge. The preparation tips are given below.
Quantitative Aptitude
- The candidates must always start their preparation with quantitative aptitude. The reason to start with quantitative aptitude is because it has lot more chapters to cover.
- First study the theory and solve examples to gain conceptual clearity. Then try to do atleast 20-30 questions on the concept you studied. Never do random questions as it will lead you to confusion.
- Once you have done 20-30 questions on each topic of a chapter then do the random questions of the whole chapter and give a sectional mock.
- Doing all these things will make that chapter done and dusted and you need not worry about that topic anymore. This will also solidify your concept and increase your speed.
Reasoning Ability
- The preparation for reasoning ability is only to practice and solve as many as questions as you can. Sit with a timer and keep note of the time taken by you to solve a particular question.
- Attack the reasoning questions with greater intensity every next time and try to reduce the time taken to solve the questions.
- There is not much theory part in reasoning so focus more on methods and shortcuts to solve the questions.
- Take sectional test especially for reasoning and solve one test daily.
English
- For English read newspapers such as The Hindu especially the editorial section. Increase your knowledge on varies topics.
- Do 2-3 reading comprehension daily and try to analyse each and every answer.
- For reading comprehension use elimination technique to eliminate options and arrive at the correct one.
- Read 20 vocab words daily and use flash cards to remember the words.
- Buy a board and keep pasting words difficult to remember and keep it in a visible place so that you can skim through it every now and then.
- Study Grammar rules and solve questions on each topic to solidify the concept.
General Knowledge
- Read newspapers such as Economic times and other newspapers to become familiar with banking jargons.
- Keep yourself updated about the happening around the world by using news, youtube channels and current affairs books.

Test Centers for IBPS PO 2019

IBPS PO 2019 Selection Process
The selection process of IBPS PO 2019 is pre-defined. The eligible candidates are called for PO Prelims in the first phase. This is followed by the result declaration. The prelim-qualifying candidates appear for the PO Main Examination. After considering the final score of PO main examination, the shortlisted candidates are called for the document verification and interview round. The IBPS PO interview round is organized by the participating organizations based on the number of vacancies.
Final Selection Criteria
The final selection will be made on the basis of the marks scored in the main examination and the Interview in the ratio of 80:20 respectively. The total marks allotted for Interview are 100. The minimum qualifying marks in interview should not be less than 40% (35% for SC/ST/OBC/PWBD candidates). The preliminary exam is only for shortlisting and the marks scored in that will not be used for the formation of final merit. Shortlisted candidates from the interview round are provisionally allotted by the Participating Organisations.

Cut Off for IBPS PO 2019
The cut off for both the preliminary exam and main exam will be released and candidates can download the cut off from the official website (ibps.in). For preliminary and main examination candidates have to qualify in each of the tests by securing minimum cut-off marks to be decided by IBPS. Prior to the completion of the interview process, scores obtained in the online Main examination will not be shared with the candidates shortlisted for interview.

After clearing IBPS PO 2019, the candidate will be placed on probation for 2 years. The in-hand salary of an IBPS PO will range between Rs. 37,000/- to 45,000. The detailed IBPS PO Salary is given as follows.
