IBPS PO 2019 – IBPS releases an application for IBPS PO 2019 on the official website, ibps.in. The candidate needs to register first to fill up the IBPS application form online. Candidate needs a valid email ID and an active phone number to commence the process. On successful registration, the candidate will get a registration number and password. IBPS PO 2019

IBPS PO Eligibility Criteria 2019

Candidates appearing for IBPS PO 2019 examination need to ensure they fulfill following creteria:

Besides the citizens of India, the subjects of Nepal or Bhutan can also apply. Tibetan Refugee (who shifted to India before 1st January 1962) can also apply for the IBPS PO 2019. A person of Indian origin, who plans to settle down in India,0 by migrating from the following countries:

IBPS PO Admit Card 2019 – Call letters

IBPO PO Admit card is a very vital document. A candidate can download an admit card from the official website using the registration number and password. One needs to download the admit card during the available window. IBPS will not issue a duplicate PO admit card again or send one through the post. Regular intimations will be rolled out by the IBPS regarding PO Exam through emails.

Registration number and password generated at the time of registration should be noted down.

Documents required on the day of PO examination:

  • Copy of the System generated Admit Card
  • Photo-identity proof – Pan Card / Voter’s Card / Passport / Permanent Driving Licence / Bank Passbook with photograph / Aadhar Card / E-aadhar card with a Photograph / Employee ID
  • Photocopy of the candidate’s photo identity
  • Ration Card and Learning Driving License are not acceptable
  • In case a candidate has recently changed her/her name, need to share Gazette notification / their original marriage certificate / affidavit in original

Biometric Data

IBPS will capture the biometric data to verify a candidate on various stages. The data will be captured using the right thumb impression and a photograph on the day of Main Examination. IBPS representatives will capture data on the day (start and end) of Main examination. The data will be again captured on the day of interview and joining.

Candidates need to make sure of the following:

  • Avoid stamped ink / mehndi / colour
  • Wash & dry hands before entering the examination hall / center
  • If the right thumb is injured/damaged, the candidate needs to notify the concerned authority

IBPS PO Pre-examination Training 2019

In association with Nodal Banks / Participating Organisations, the IBPS organizes pre-examination training. This training is only for students belonging to Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribes / Minority Communities. Candidates need to specify the requirement while filling the IBPS PO online application. As such the training is free of cost but IBPS or participating banks will not bear candidate’s expenses related to traveling, boarding, lodging, and more.

IBPS PO Result 2019

IBPS PO result will be declared online on the official website. Candidates need to keep a proper track of the IBPS PO result by visiting the website regularly. The result for IBPS PO will be declared for different phases. The process will start with a declaration of the IBPS PO Prelims result. Marks for IBPS PO 2019 will be calculated by by adding marks obtained during various phases. Further, the marks will be normalized using the equi-percentile method.

IBPS PO Cut Off 2019

Cut-off Score for IBPS PO 2019 will be decided after conedering the number of vacancies. A candidate needs to obtain a minimum score in each test to be shortlisted for the next phase. The final scores obtained in the Online Main Examination will be considered for Interview and Final Merit. IBPS will release the cutoff separately for all phases through online medium.

IBPS PO Vacancies 2019

Participating Organizations in IBPS PO recruitment process declare the number of vacancies statewise or countrywide. The selection process is dynamic (depends on number of factors). It considers a number of factors such as business volume, growth, organization’s health, expansion, structural changes, and more. The list of vacancies released is indicative and may change during the course of the recruitment process. The provisional allotment of a candidate will always be made according to the vacancies reported by the participating banks.

IBPS PO Salary 2019

After clearing IBPS PO 2019, the candidate will be placed on probation for 2 years. The in-hand salary of an IBPS PO will range between Rs. 37,000/- to 45,000/-. The IBPS PO salary is inclusive of allowances. The probationary officer will be entitled to a Leased Accommodation (if HRA is not availed), Traveling Allowance (reimburse travel or petrol bills), monthly Newspaper Reimbursement, and Medical Aid (upto Rs. 8,000/-). Following is the breakup of the salary (approximate salary):

  • Basic Pay: Rs. 23,700 (Revised after 7th Pay Commission)
  • Dearness Allowance (DA): Rs. 7,986 (33.7% of the Basic Pay. Revised quarterly.)
  • House Rent Allowance (HRA): Rs. 1,659 (7-9% of the Basic Pay. Varies according to the area.)
  • Special Allowance: Rs. 1836.75 (7.75% of Basic Pay)
  • City Compensatory Allowance (CCA For Metro Cities): Rs. 600 – 870 (3-4% of Basic Pay)
  • DA on Special Allowance: 618.98 (33.7% of Special Allowance)

IBPS PO Selection Process 2019

The selection process of IBPS PO 2019 is pre-defined. The eligible candidates are called for PO Prelims in the first phase. This is followed by the result declaration.
