MP TET is a teaching eligibility test conducted by the Madhya Pradesh Employees Selection Board (MPESB), formerly the Professional Examination Board (MP PEB), for schools in Madhya Pradesh. The 2026 MPESB Primary and Secondary Teacher Eligibility Test is open only to in-service teachers, following the Supreme Court order of 1 September 2025. Eligibility tests of this kind qualify a candidate to be considered for teaching posts — they establish that you meet the standard required to apply, and are separate from the recruitment process that actually fills vacancies.
