When will UPSC declare NDA Result 2019?

As per recent communication with UPSC:- Recently we talked to UPSC to know when it will announce the result of NDA 2019 held on April 21, 2019. As per the communication, UPSC will announce result three months after exam. Therefore as per this talk, result is expected in July.

How to check UPSC NDA Result?

You can check the result from official website of UPSC. Follow the steps given below to do so.

  1. Go to upsc.gov.in.
  2. If result is available, then you will see a running notice that says to click for result (written or final) of NDA 2019.
  3. This takes you to a page where all uploads related to NDA 1 2019 happen. See the latest result link and click it.
  4. Now a PDF file opens that contains result writeup and roll numbers of candidates who are selected for SSB (if written exam result), or those recommended (if final result).

1. Must notify address change

If you have qualified for SSB interview, as per NDA 1 Result 2019, and also your address has changed in the meantime, then you need to communicate it to the officials.

Regarding re-scheduling SSB Interviews

You have to attend SSB interview at date and time allotted to you in call up interview letter. If you absolutely have to change the date, then contact authorities. Your request will be entertained only under exceptional circumstances and then also it will be the prerogative of the authorities. Send request to the Administrative Officer of the Selection Centre from where the call letter for interview has been received. If you send communication to Army / Navy / Air HQs, then they will not take any action.

SSB 2 Stage Selection Process

Selection Centres, Air Force Selection Boards, Naval Selection Boards now have a 2-stage selection process.

Stage 1 test takes place on Day 1.

Those who survive stage 1 are taken to stage 2.

Then those who qualify stage II are asked to submit original certificates and one copy each of those documents. Authorities verify eligibility against data submitted in application form of NDA 1 2019.

Documents required

  1. Original Matriculation pass certificate or equivalent in support of date of birth
  2. Original 10+2 pass certificate or equivalent in support of educational qualification.

CPSS: If you applied for air force, then you get computerised pilot selection system (cpss) (pilot aptitude test) only once. Whenever you later appear for interview before AFSB (Air Force Selection Board), your CPSS grades of first test holds good for every subsequent interview you have with AFSB. Anyone who fails CPSS cannot apply for NDA air force wing or general duties (pilot) branch or naval air arm admission.

NDA Cut Off

The Union Public Service Commission decides cut off for written exam. Thereafter a cutoff is fixed for combined marks in SSB and written exam. NDA cut off is released after declaration of final result.

Trend Analysis

  • Usually the NDA 1 cut offs are higher than NDA 2 cut offs.
  • Cut offs of NDA exam dipped from 2014 to 2016, and then rose again.
  • NDA 1 cut offs are above 300, and NDA 2 cut offs are below 300.

Therefore, NDA 1 Cut Off 2019 is expected to be above 300.

UPSC NDA 1 Final Result 2019

The Merit list of all candidates who appeared for UPSC NDA and NA I 2019 are released by UPSC. On the basis of the total marks secured by candidates in the Written Examination and the Services Selection Board Tests result is declared. The final result for NDA is published online at upsc.gov.in as per schedule. The final allocation/selection for admission to the Army, Navy, Air Force of the National Defence Academy and 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme of Indian Naval Academy is up to the number of vacancies available as per the fulfillment of the eligibility, medical fitness and merit-cum-preference of the candidates.

UPSC NDA Mark Sheet 2019

The mark sheet of the candidates are released after final result. It is usually provided 15 days after the announcement of the final result. Along with it, the cutoff marks are also disclosed. The mark sheet, as well as the cutoff, are uploaded on the official website of Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). The candidates must not delay in checking the mark sheet because it is only be provided for a period of 30 days.

Admission to NDA and NA

Candidates must obtain minimum qualifying marks in both written exam, as well as Officer Potentiality Test.

Over and above candidates for the Air Force, and all the SSB qualified candidates as per their willingness, eligibility and preference for Air Force, should separately qualify the CPSS.

Merit list of NDA and NA admission 2019 is on basis of marks obtained in UPSC NDA 1 2019 exam and marks obtained in Services Selection Board tests.

Admission is subject to eligibility, medical fitness and merit-cum-preference of the candidates.

All the cadets on passing out will be awarded degrees from Jawaharlal Nehru University Delhi as under:-

Pay Scale of Cadets in NDA As per Rank

During the training period, the candidates will get the monthly fixed stipend. The stipend will be Rs. 15,500 p.m. When the training will successfully over the cadets be paid as per the level 10 initially. Then the rank and salary will increase as per the promotion. The pay scale of each rank is given below.

Ans 1. To check UPSC NDA Result 2019 of written exam, or final result, candidate has to visit upsc.gov.in. There, either under whats new section, you will find NDA result if it is recently announced. Likewise you can also find it under Written Results and Final Results section on the website.

Ans 2. Union Public Service Commission makes marks of candidates available after 15 days of final result. However it can be checked from then through around 30 days only. You have to login with roll number and date of birth at that time to check marks.

Ans 3. Pass marks actually refers to UPSC NDA cut off. After final result, UPSC publishes cut off of that year. Last time, it was 325 out of 900 in written exam, and 688 out of 1800 for final merit.

Ans 4. For NDA 1 2019, candidates should be born not before 02 July 2000 and not later than 01 July 2003.

Qs 5. How many times can we attempt NDA exam?

Ans 5. You can apply as many number of times you want for NDA, as long as you satisfy age limit and other criteria. Thus there is no attempts limit.

Qs 6. Can girls join NDA?

Ans 6. No, UPSC NDA and NA exam is only for unmarried male candidates. Therefore girls cannot apply.

Qs 7. How do we join NDA?

Ans 7. You can join National Defence Academy & Naval Academy via UPSC NDA and NA exam. If you have passed class 12, and satisfy other eligibility criteria, then you can appear in NDA NA exam. First you have to qualify it, and then appear in SSB interview / personality test. If you clear both, then you get to join NDA and NA.

    There is no limit on number of attempts, in NDA exam. However, there is limit on age.

    As per ongoing age limits, the valid DOBs to appear in NDA are as follows

    NDA 1 2019 – Between 02 July 2000 and 01 July 2003
    NDA 2 2019 – Between 02 Jan 2001 and 01 Jan 2004
    NDA 1 2020 – Between 02 July 2001 and 01 July 2004
    NDA 2 2020 – Between 02 Jan 2002 and 01 Jan 2005
