RPF Constable eligibility requires Class 10 (Matriculation) pass from a recognised board. Age limits are 18 to 28 years as on the cut-off date in the notification.

Candidates awaiting final results are not eligible to apply. The qualification must be complete on or before the closing date for applications — this is stated explicitly in the CEN and is a common cause of rejection.

Medical fitness
RPF posts carry physical standard requirements for height, chest and weight alongside the medical category, and these differ for male and female candidates.
