There is no RPF Constable admit card to download as of 27 October 2026, because no new recruitment has been notified. The last call letters were issued under CEN RPF 02/2024 (4,208 posts): a city intimation link on 21 February 2025 for the Computer Based Test (CBT) of 2 to 18 March 2025, and a PET/PMT/DV e-call letter link on 23 October 2025. That recruitment ended with the final panel of 16 February 2026.
Who will issue the next RPF Constable admit card?
The recruitment rules were amended in October 2025. The Railway Protection Force (Amendment) Rules, 2025, dated 17 October 2025 and published in the Gazette of India (Extraordinary) on 21 October 2025 as G.S.R. 766(E), say that direct recruitment of Sub-Inspectors and Constables in the Executive Cadre shall follow the recruitment procedure of the Staff Selection Commission for the Central Armed Police Forces. The same rules set the age for Constable (Executive) at above 18 and below 23 years on the date of notification. As of 27 October 2026, the RRB notice board still lists only CEN RPF 01/2024 and RPF 02/2024 for RPF posts. Until a new notice appears, the details below describe the CEN RPF 02/2024 process and may not carry over unchanged.
How the CEN RPF 02/2024 CBT call letters were released
- Schedule: the tentative CBT notice of 28 January 2025 gave 2 to 20 March 2025. The notice of 3 March 2025 fixed the CBT at 2 to 18 March 2025.
- City and date intimation: the link to view the exam city and date, and for SC/ST candidates to download the Travel Authority, was to go live 10 days before the exam date on all RRB websites.
- E-call letter: downloads were to start 4 days before the exam date shown in the city intimation. No call letter was sent by post.
- No changes: the CEN says the centre, date and shift in the e-call letter are final, and no request to change them is entertained.
For SC and ST candidates eligible for free travel, the e-call letter itself carried the free travel authority, a sleeper class railway pass. To book, they submitted a self-attested photocopy of the e-call letter and the SC/ST certificate at the ticket counter. On the journey they had to carry the original community certificate and an original proof of identity, or be treated as travelling without a ticket.
What to carry and what is banned at the RPF Constable CBT
- The e-call letter with a valid original photo ID: Voter ID card, Aadhaar card, e-Aadhaar printout, driving licence, PAN card, passport, employer ID for government employees, or a school/college/university photo ID if still studying.
- A copy of the same colour passport photograph uploaded with the application. The CEN RPF 02/2024 asks for it at the CBT, PET/PMT, DV and medical examination.
- Your original Aadhaar card or a printout of e-verified Aadhaar, for Aadhaar-linked biometric authentication before entry to the exam hall. A notice of 30 November 2024 asked candidates to keep their Aadhaar unlocked in the UIDAI system.
The CEN bans mobile phones, Bluetooth devices, pen drives, laptops, calculators, smart watches, bangles, chains, bracelets, hearing aids, wallets/purses, belts, shoes, metallic wear and stationery such as pens and pencils. Cloak rooms may not be available at the venues. Any violation leads to disqualification, legal action and debarment from future recruitment exams. Biometric details are recorded at every stage, and a mismatch can lead to disqualification.
RPF Constable PET/PMT and DV call letter
The PET/PMT/DV schedule notice of 17 October 2025 set tentative dates of 13 November to 6 December 2025 at four venues: 2nd Battalion RPSF, Gorakhpur (North); RPF Zonal Training Centre, Nashik Road (West); Railway Workshop Stadium, Kanchrapara (East); and RPF Zonal Training Centre, Moula-Ali, Hyderabad (South). Each e-call letter was to be available at least 02 weeks before the candidate's date and showed the date, time and venue. DV was to be held on the same day for those who qualified in PET/PMT, so candidates had to bring all original documents with two sets of self-attested photocopies.
The PET standards were: men 1600 metres in 5 min 45 secs, long jump 14 ft and high jump 4 ft; women 800 metres in 3 min 40 secs, long jump 9 ft and high jump 3 ft. Under CEN RPF 02/2024 the run allowed one chance and the jumps up to 2 chances each; ex-servicemen were exempt from PET but had to take PMT, and a PMT grievance had to be raised within three days of the test with the PCSC of that jurisdiction. Ex-servicemen are exempt from PET but must take PMT. A PMT grievance must be raised within three days of the test with the PCSC of that jurisdiction.
Medical examination call letter
The zone allotment notice of 23 February 2026 said the call letter for the medical examination would be issued by the concerned Zone/RPSF. Candidates were told to bring the filled Attestation Form, and all certificates in original with 02 sets of photocopies.
