The RPF Constable recruitment under CEN RPF 02/2024 is complete: the final panel came out on 16 February 2026, with 4,205 candidates empanelled for 4,208 notified posts. Zone allotment and the medical examination notice followed on 23 February 2026. No new RPF Constable recruitment had been notified as of 27 October 2026, so there is no result pending.

Is a new RPF Constable result expected?

Not until a fresh recruitment is held. The Railway Protection Force (Amendment) Rules, 2025, dated 17 October 2025 and published in the Gazette of India (Extraordinary) on 21 October 2025 as G.S.R. 766(E), provide that direct recruitment of Constables in the Executive Cadre shall follow the recruitment procedure of the Staff Selection Commission for the Central Armed Police Forces. The RRB notice board still lists only CEN RPF 01/2024 and RPF 02/2024 for RPF posts. The last RPF 02/2024 notices, dated 16 and 28 September 2026, dealt only with re-processing failed exam-fee refunds, with bank details to be updated on rrbapply.gov.in by 3 October 2026.

Stage 1: CBT result (shortlist for PET/PMT/DV)

The CBT result of 19 June 2025 listed 42,143 roll numbers shortlisted for PET, PMT and DV. The numbers were arranged in ascending order, not in order of merit. The CEN sets the shortlist at 10 times the vacancies in each category for Male, Female and Ex-Servicemen, with at most two rounds of PET/PMT if a category falls short. Alongside the list, the RRBs published normalised cut-off marks (scaled to 100) for each category. Community-wise cut-offs for Ex-Servicemen followed on 20 August 2025.

Your own marks were in the score card, which you could view from 20 June 2025 at 17:00 Hrs by logging in with your Registration No. and Date of Birth. The CEN provides for normalisation of marks when the CBT is held in multiple shifts, so merit is based on normalised marks, not raw marks.

Stage 2: PET and PMT

PET and PMT are qualifying only, with no marks awarded. For CEN RPF 02/2024 they were scheduled from 13 November to 6 December 2025, with DV on the same day for those who qualified. If Female or Ex-Servicemen vacancies remain unfilled after the second round of PET/PMT, they go to male candidates of the same category.

Stage 3: Final panel

The panel of 16 February 2026 was drawn up from CBT performance, followed by PET, PMT and Document Verification. It lists the roll numbers of empanelled candidates in ascending order, not in order of merit, and ends with the normalised cut-off marks (scaled up to 100) of empanelled candidates. If two candidates have the same marks, the older one ranks higher. If the date of birth is also the same, ascending alphabetical order (a to z) decides.

After the result: zone allotment, medical and training

  1. Zone allotment: made on merit, the candidate's preferences and the vacancies in each category and Zone/RPSF. The allotted candidates download the Zone Allotment List and Attestation Form from the RRB website.
  2. Medical examination: the call letter comes from the allotted Zone/RPSF. Bring the filled Attestation Form and all certificates in original with 02 sets of photocopies. For any query, contact the Zonal Control Room listed with the zone allotment notice.
  3. Training: selected candidates undergo initial training with only a stipend, and must pass the final examination at the end of training to be appointed to the Force.
