RRB Paramedical selection process
- Single-stage Computer Based Test (CBT)
- Document Verification (DV)
- Medical Examination (ME)
Paramedical categories use a single-stage CBT of 100 questions with 1/3 negative marking. Unlike Group D or ALP there is no physical test and no second CBT — the professional-ability section carries the weight, so subject knowledge in your own discipline matters far more than general studies here.
Qualifying marks
Candidates must score at least UR and EWS 40%, OBC-NCL 30%, SC 30%, ST 25% in the CBT to be considered for the next stage. PwBD candidates may receive a 2-mark relaxation where there is a shortage of PwBD candidates against reserved vacancies.
Medical standard
Standards range from B1 to C2 depending on the post, as listed in the post table above.
