As per the official notice, the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released the RRB Siliguri Result 2022 for NTPC on January 14, 2022. The result is available state-wise on the respective websites. The computer based test or CBT 1 examinations for the Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) have been conducted. Candidates who qualify the CBT 1 exam are eligible to appear for CBT 2 which is scheduled for February 14 to 18, 2022. The RRB Group D CBT exam will tentatively take place on February 23, 2022. The RRB NTPC examination under CBT continued over 07 phases that lasted from from December 28, 2020 to July 31, 2021. The result declaration process is currently underway and will be released on January 15, 2022. However, the RRB Group D examination is yet to begin. In the case of Group D, the recruitment examination will also take over multiple stages.

RRB Siliguri Result 2022 for NTPC
Candidates who have appeared for RRB Siliguri NTPC exam can expect their results for CBT 1 on January 15, 2022. The results will be released on the official website – rrbsiliguri.gov.in. To check the results, here are the steps that one can follow.

Step 2- Find and click on the link that reads ‘CEN 01/2019 NTPC CBT 1 Results’
Step 3- The candidate login portal will open
Step 4- Enter roll number, date of birth and mobile number followed by captcha
Step 5- Click on the ‘Login’ button
Step 6- The RRB Siliguri result 2022 result for CBT 1 will be displayed.
CBT 1- The CBT 1 examinations for RRB Siliguri NTPC recruitment were conducted from December 28, 2020 to July 31, 2021. The first stage or CBT 1 took place over a duration of 90 minutes. In this stage, candidates had to answer 100 questions from General Awareness, Mathematics and General Intelligence and Reasoning.
CBT 2- The second stage of RRB Siliguri NTPC recruitment is going to be held for a duration of 90 minutes. Candidates will have to answer a total of 120 questions from General Awareness, Mathematics and General Intelligence and Reasoning. However, there will be 1/3 negative marking for every wrong answer in this stage.
CBAT & TST- A computer based aptitude test (CBAT) will also be conducted for those candidates who have opted for posts like Traffic Assistant and Station Master. After that, there will be a typing skill test (TST) for posts like senior clerk cum typist, junior accounts assistant, senior time keeper, etc.
DV- In the final stage, the candidates will be called for document verification based on their performance in CBT 2 and/or CBT 2 along with CBAT & TST. However, candidates equal to the number of vacancies be called for DV. If two or more candidates secure the same marks, then the tie-breaking will take place based on the age criteria first.

The RRB Siliguri Group D results will be announced after the examination is successfully conducted. As per the official notification, the examination will tentatively be conducted on February 23, 2022 over multiple phases. CBT- RRB Siliguri will tentatively conduct one or multiple computer based tests (CBTs). The examination will be held for a duration of 90 minutes during which candidates have to answer 100 questions. The subjects that will be included are General Science, Mathematics, General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Awareness and Current Affairs.
PET- Based on the performance of the candidates in CBT, aspirants will be shortlisted for the physical efficiency test (PET). The criterion for both male and female candidates is different which they can check from the official notification. Although this stage of the recruitment exam is mandatory, it is qualifying in nature.
DV- This will be the last stage of the recruitment process. After evaluating the performance of the candidates in CBT and based on their qualification status in PET, they will be called for document verification. For tie-breaking in terms of marks, the age criterion will be followed.

Candidates who will qualify for the first round i.e. CBT will then be called for Physical Efficiency Test or PET.
