SSC CPO 2018: Final Result Out, Check Marks, Ranks

SSC CPO 2018 – SSC has released the final marks and result of the SSC SPO 2018 recruitment online at ssc.nic.in. The Review medical examination was held on November 23, 2020 to December 07, 2020. SSC CPO Recruitment 2018 is conducted in 3 phases. The result for the paper -II exam has been released on the official website. The candidates who have qualified the paper -II are eligible for medical examination. The final selection of the candidates will be done to fill the post of Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police, Sub-Inspector (GD) in CAPFs, and ASI (Executive) in CISF. Review Medical Examination (RME)

SSC has released the dates of the Review Medical Examination (RME) of candidates. The RME is scheduled to take place from November 23, 2020 to December 07, 2020.

SSC KKR region has released an important notice related to Detailed Medical Examination (DME). The notice states that DME will continue as per the original schedule. however, those who are unable to attend Medical Examination due to COVID-19, can attend re-examination. SSC CPO 2018 Admit Card

Before appearing for the exam, you must download the admit card and take a print out of it. You must also ensure that the details provided on SSC CPO 2018 admit card/admission certificate is correct and in case of discrepancy immediately contact the concerned authorities and get it rectified. It is going to contain the SSC CPO 2018 exam date and venue of examination. To download it you have to visit the official website of SSC and using registration ID and password in SSC CPO 2018 login, get access to it. In case you are unable to download your admit card immediately contact concerned Regional/ Sub-Regional Office(s) of the commission.

While appearing for the final exam you must ensure that you carry one photo identity proof and issued by a government or other offices.

SSC CPO 2018 Result

After you have appeared for the exam, the result has available officially. You must check your result for each stage of SSC CPO 2018 selection. To download the result for Paper I and Paper II separately, you need to visit the website, sss.nic.in, and download it by using SSC CPO 2018 login. The result will be issued in PDF format containing the details (i) Name and (ii) Roll number. After Paper I, PST/PET will be conducted and you must ensure that you qualify this stage to be able to attend Paper II.

Candidates who want to know the SSC CPO 2018 Cut off will be able to check it after the declaration of result. The cut off for the exam will be decided by the commission and only those candidates will be considered qualified and for the recruitment who will score minimum marks in SSC CPO 2018.

SSC CPO 2018 Answer Key

Answer key has been released officially on the website. Also, there is a provision of challenging the answer key from April 24 to 27, 2019. The candidates have pay Rs 100/- as a fee per challenge. If a challenge is found to be correct, necessary changes will be made and the final or revised answer key will be released.

The answer key is of immense importance as you get an idea of marks you are going to score in SSC CPO 2018 exam and prepare for the following stage.

SSC CPO 2018 Eligibility Criteria

Applicants who want to apply for SSC CPO 2018 need to, first of all, check their eligibility and confirm that they satisfy it. Application form of candidates who will not fulfill the criteria as laid down by the Commission will be rejected and they may not be allowed to give the exam. Below you can find the detailed eligibility criteria for SSC CPO 2018:

Nationality: You should be a citizen of India or subject of Nepal or Bhutan to apply for the post.

  • You can also apply if you are Tibetan refugee and came to India before January 01, 1962.
  • To apply for the exam you can be a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, Uganda, East African countries of Kenya, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Zaire, Malawi, Vietnam or Ethiopia.

Age Limit: Your age must be between 20-25 years as on August 01, 2018

However, categories belonging to various categories are given relaxation in age limit to apply for SSC CPO 2018 exam. The detailed age limit relaxation can be found in the table below:

Physical Eligibility: Candidates who want to apply for the exam must also check their physical eligibility and fulfill it. The Physical Standard Test (PST) will be conducted after SSC CPO 2018 Paper I has been conducted. In it, your height and chest will be measured.

Thereafter, you will undergo Physical Endurance Test (PET) where male candidates will be tested for a race, long jump, high jump and shot put. Whereas female candidates will undergo the physical eligibility test for race, long jump and high jump.

Female applicants will have no minimum requirement for chest measurement. Also, relaxation in height and chest will be provided only if a certificate is produced as prescribed in the Annexure- VIII of the notification.

If you are declared not qualified in the physical test, you can appeal to the appellate authority present on the ground at the time of PET / PST. the decision of appellate authority is final and no further appeal could be made.

SSC CPO 2018 Registration Form

Once you have checked the eligibility criteria and fulfilled it, you can apply for the exam to appear in it. The application process is now open and you can easily do SSC CPO 2018 registration from the official website, ssc.nic.in. The application for various posts could be filled through the same page.

To apply for the SSC CPO 2018, you need to register as a new user by providing the basic personal details as asked in the form. After you submit the completed registration form, you will receive registration ID and password which you must keep safe as it will be required in future and also it could be used for any other recruitment examination of the Commission.

After successfully registering, you need to upload coloured photograph and signature in JPG/JPEG format in the size prescribed for it.

SSC CPO 2018 Application Form

Once SSC CPO 2018 registration has been done, you will be required to fill the application form and complete the process. To fill the form you have to use SSC CPO 2018 login and enter the registration ID and password provided to you. While filling the form you must ensure that all the details provided by you are correct as no editing will be allowed later on.

To complete the process, you must pay SSC CPO 2018 application fee. The amount to be paid for making the payment is Rs. 100. However, if you belong to the category of women, SC, ST and ExS, you are exempted from paying the fee.

SSC CPO 2018 Exam Pattern

In order to get selected for the exam you have to appear for 3 stages: Paper I, PST / PET, Paper II which are conducted in the same pattern as stated here.

Paper I

Paper-I will consist of 4 parts with 50 questions in each of it. The paper will be total of 200 marks and you have to attempt the questions with the time duration of 120 minutes. You must attempt only those questions of which you are sure. As for every wrong answer marked in SSC CPO 2018 Paper I deduction of 0.25 marks will be done. Paper II

After you have qualified Paper I and PST/PET, you will be issued admit card to appear for Paper-II which is also the 3rd and last stage. to prepare for this paper you must attempt previous year question papers. Moreover, you have to answer questions from English language and comprehension. The time provided to answer the questions in this paper is 120 minutes or 2 hours and the total number of questions are required to be attempted are 200. For every right answer, 1 mark will be awarded and wrong response will lead to deduction of 0.25 marks from the total marks obtained by you. SSC CPO 2018 Syllabus

SSC CPO 2018 Syllabus is vast and you need to prepare for it with focus and concentration.

Paper I

The syllabus of Paper I will be divided into 4 parts.

  • The first part will be of General Intelligence and Reasoning and is going to contain the topic like analogies, judgment, observation, arithmetic, reasoning and much more. You have to prepare for all the topics to score well in the exam.
  • The second part is going to consist of General Knowledge and General Awareness. In this section, your knowledge will be tested for history, economics, geography, research, constitution, etc.
  • The third section is of Quantitative Aptitude. Here questions will be asked to check your appropriate usage of number and skills of solving mathematical equations. You have to practice this section with utter seriousness to score high and increase your chances of selection.
  • Final and fourth part is going to be of English comprehension. Your skills in English language and writing ability will be checked. To attempt the question in this section of SSC CPO 2018 exam, you need to have basic knowledge of English and comprehension skills. You must also possess grammar knowledge to score high in this part of Paper I.

To prepare for the examination you must know the entire syllabus and have access to the most recommended books. This is going to make your preparation much easier and smoother.

Paper II

After qualifying PST/ PET, you will be able to appear for Paper II of SSC CPO 2018 exam. The entire paper will be designed to check your understanding and knowledge of English language. The topics will be based on vocabulary, grammar, phrases, comprehension and much more.

SSC CPO 2018 Selection Process

To get selected for the post of SI / ASI it is compulsory for all the applicants to appear for Paper I, PST/PET and Paper II. Moreover, you need to qualify each and every stage with the minimum marks as decided by the commission. After you have cleared all the stages of SSC CPO 2018 and also declared fit after DME (medical examination) final selection will be done. The final selection process will be done on the basis of marks scored in Paper I and Paper II. The post will be assigned to the applicant of the basis of merit and the choice filled at the time of document verification.
