SSC CPO Result 2026: Paper-I Lists, PET/PST, Final Merit Rules

The latest SSC CPO result is the 2025 Paper-I result of 30 March 2026, which qualified 4320 women, 44067 men and 228 Delhi Police departmental candidates for PET/PST. SSC regional notices scheduled their PET/PST for July 2026, for example 21 to 25 July 2026 in the Eastern Region. The PET/PST result decides who sits Paper-II. The 2026 cycle has not reached any result stage yet, as its Paper-I is set for 23 to 28 November 2026.

How the SSC CPO result works, stage by stage

1. Paper-I result: published as PDF roll-number lists, with List-1 for women, List-2 for men and List-3 for male departmental candidates of Delhi Police. The 2025 write-up gives category cut-offs for each list. NCC bonus marks are awarded provisionally and must be proved at document verification. All ESM candidates who scored the minimum 20% (40 marks) qualified for PET/PST.
2. PET/PST result: qualifying only. In the 2024 cycle it was declared on 03.02.2025. Of those called, 37,763 were absent, 21,661 did not qualify and 24,190 qualified for Paper-II.
3. Paper-II result: shortlists candidates for the medical examination. The 2024 Paper-II result of 08.08.2025 shortlisted 22,269 candidates (Female-1889, Male-20380).
4. Medical and documents: DME/RME is mandatory but qualifying. The CAPFs held DV and medicals for the 2024 cycle from 15.09.2025 to 27.09.2025.
5. Final result: merit is based on Paper-II marks (including the NCC bonus) and your preference of posts and forces. Once your first available preference is allotted, you are not considered for any other.

Ties on equal aggregate marks are broken by total marks in Paper-II, then English marks in Paper-II, then date of birth (older first), then alphabetical order.

Revised results do happen

The CPO 2024 final result of 20 October 2025 recommended 5296 candidates (455 women and 4841 men). After an unusually high number of representations, SSC reviewed it with the nodal force, BSF, and found inconsistencies in the DV/DME/RME data. On 26 November 2025 it issued a revised final result. This allocated 76 more candidates and removed 12 who did not meet the eligibility conditions, while keeping candidates recommended over and above the vacancies so that no genuinely recommended candidate lost out.

Scorecard and marks

SSC opens marks through the candidate login (Registered ID and Password) for a fixed window, and they are not available afterwards. The windows so far:

• CPO 2025 Paper-I: 21.04.2026 (18:00 Hrs) to 06.05.2026 (18:00 Hrs).
• CPO 2024 Paper-II: 12.09.2025 (06:00PM) to 06.10.2025 (06:00PM).
• CPO 2024 final marks: from 24.07.2026 (12:00 PM) to 23.08.2026 (06:00 PM), months after the revised result.

If you scored above the cut-off but were not declared qualified, the 2026 notice asks you to represent to the concerned Regional Office. The deadline is two months from the result or two weeks before the next stage, whichever is earlier. A selected candidate who hears nothing within one year of the final result should contact the organisation concerned.
