SSC MTS 2019: Final Result Out, Check Marks and Cut Offs

SSC MTS 2019 – SSC has declared the Final result of SSC MTS 2019 at the official website, ssc.nic.in. SSC MTS tier-2 examination was held on November 26, 2020 in which 96478 candidates appeared. The qualified candidates of the tier 2 exam will have to appear in the Document Verification. Selection is on basis of the paper-1 objective and paper-2 descriptive test. SSC MTS 2019

On basis of SSC MTS 2019, candidates will get recruitment to post of Multi Tasking Staff in various ministries, departments, offices of Govt of India. Pay band of MTS is PB-1 (Rs 5200-20200) + grade pay Rs 1800. Multi Tasking Staff is a general central service group C non-gazetted, non-ministerial post.

SSC MTS Result 2019

In the result file, the name, roll number, and category of the shortlisted candidates are displayed. The candidates don’t have to enter their credentials to check the result as result announced in the form of pdf.

Document Verification

SSC call the qualified candidates for the Document Verification. While appearing for the document verification the candidates have to carry some important documents, as follows

  • 02 passport size recent color photograph
  • One valid id proof any one of Aadhaar Card, Voter Id card, PAN Card, Passport, Driving License, Government School/ College ID Card/ Employer ID (Govt./ PSU).
  • 10th/ Matriculation certificate
  • Educational Qualification Certificate
  • Caste Certificate (if applicable)
  • PWD certificate (if applicable)
  • Caste/ Category Certificate (if applicable)

Cut Off

The cut off marks are generally published after the announcement of result at ssc.nic.in. The candidates can check the cut off marks when published. Here the candidates can check the previous years cut off marks.

Pay Scale

The pay scale in SSC MTS is as per the Pay Band of Rs. 5200/- to 20200/-, additionally Grade pay of Rs. 1800/-. The grade pay is being provided after the Revised pay Scale according to the 7th CPC.

Salient Features of SSC MTS 2019

SSC MTS Answer key 2019

The paper I of SSC MTS is objective type. Hence after the examination, the SSC will release the answer key. SSC releases the answer key ob its official website. A tentative answer key is released. The candidates can raise the objection in the provided time. For each challenge, the candidates have to pay the objection fee of Rs. 100/-.

Without the fee, SSC doesn’t accept the objection. The candidates have to provide a proper reference for justifying their answer. Without proper justification, the objection will not be accepted.

SSC MTS 2019: Key Highlights

Following are the important points of SSC MTS 2019 exam.

Selection Paper 1 for all applicants, then Paper 2 for those who qualify in Paper 1
Type of exams Paper 1 is objective computer based test, Paper 2 is subjective paper
Normalization applicable or not Yes, applicable on paper 1
Merit determining paper Only Paper 1 will determine merit. Paper 2 is qualifying in nature. However if two or more candidates get equal normalized score in Paper 1, then Paper 2 will be seen.

Minimum educational qualification to become MTS Class 10 pass
Age limit There are two age groups, 18-25 yrs old, and 18-27 yrs old. Age relaxation is applicable.

SSC MTS 2019 Admit Card

Admit card of SSC MTS 2019 is released first for paper 1, for all candidates who applied. Then it is released for paper 2, for those who qualify in paper 1. Important things to know about it are:

  • SSC MTS 2019 admit card can be downloaded from websites of regional and sub-regional Staff Selection Commission.
  • The call letters are not send by post or any other mode.
  • Candidates have to download them by logging in with registration number or roll number, and date of birth.
  • Exam date and centre assigned to each candidate is mentioned in his/her admit card only.

SSC MTS 2019 Exam Pattern

SSC MTS 2019 examination shall comprise of two tiers – 1, and 2. Tier-1 has paper-1, and tier-2 has paper-2. Go through exam pattern given below to know examination scheme, marking scheme, types of questions.

Paper-I

Mode of exam: Computer based test
Duration: 1.5 hours (2 hours for candidates eligible for scribes)
Language of paper: English for part I, English and Hindi for part II, III, IV

Selection Process

The candidates participating in the SSC MTS 2019 hav eot undergo the below

  1. Paper I
  2. Paper II

In both papers , the Paper II is qualifying in nuatre, that means the fial selection ofnteh candidates is not based on the marks obtained in the paper II.

Paper II is qualifying in nature, the marks obtained in paper II will not be considered for preparing the final merit list. 

SSC MTS Exam Centers 2019

SSC MTS Eligibility Criteria 2019

The candidates who meet the eligibility criteria decided by the Staff Selection Commission can apply for the exam.

Nationality: Indian

Age Limit: The candidates belonging to the age bracket of 18 to 25 years are eligible to apply. The candidates must not be less than 18 years and not more than 25 years as on August 01, 2019.

Educational Qualification: 10th/ Matriculation/ Senior Secondary / Equivalence must be clear.

Age Relaxation:

The candidates of the reserved category are provided the relaxation in upper age limit. Look at the table for getting the information on the age relaxation in SSC MTS 2019.
