GTET Cut Off
GTET has a fixed qualifying bar, not a year-wise cut off. Because it is a qualifying test rather than a competitive one, the mark you need to pass is set in the rules and does not change from year to year.
Qualifying marks
Each paper carries 150 marks. A candidate is declared GTET pass on scoring:
| Category | Qualifying % | Qualifying marks (of 150) |
|---|---|---|
| General | 60% | 90 |
| SC / ST / OBC / differently-abled | 55% | 83 |
What the qualifying mark does
Crossing the qualifying mark makes you GTET pass and earns a certificate valid for life for teacher recruitment in Goa. It does not by itself secure a post — recruitment is a separate process in which school managements give weightage to the GTET score, so a mark comfortably above the bar is worth aiming for even though the bar itself is fixed.
