How to check UGC NET Result 2022
Candidates can check their results at ugcnet.nta.nic.in by logging in with their application number and password/DOB. To check the results for UGC NET 2022 candidates should follow the steps provided below.
1st Step: Visit ugcnet.nta.nic.in.
2nd step: Click on the ‘UGC NET result’ link
3rd step: A login page will now appear on the screen.
4th step: Thereafter, enter the application number and password or application number and date of birth.
5th step: The UGC NET result shall now appear on the screen.
Note: The UGC NET result will only be available for 90 days from the date of declaration of result. In case candidates have any query related to the result, they can raise objections within 30 days from the declaration of result.
UGC NET Cutoff Marks
Given below are the cut off marks required to qualify for UGC NET Examination 2022. These are the category wise minimum marks required for UGC NET. Only those candidates who have secured marks equal to or above the cut off will be in the rank list.

- Assistant Professor – The UGC NET Assistant Professor certificate remain valid for lifetime
- Junior Research Fellowship – The UGC NET JRF certificate remain valid for 03 years from the declaration of result.

About UGC NET
UGC National Eligibility Test or UGC NET exam is an annual national level examination. The National Testing Agency conducts UGC NET Exam every year. UGC NET is conducted as an eligibility test for research fellows, assistant professors and lecturers. Certified candidates will be eligible to work in colleges and universities within India. The exam has two mandatory papers – Paper I and Paper II. The combined aggregate marks of these two papers will be taken as the UGC NET score of the candidate. General category candidates need a minimum of 40% marks in aggregate and candidates belonging to reserved categories will get a 5% relaxation in the aggregate marks.
