  • Name of Post: Group C (Clerk), Group D
  • Total Number Of Vacancies: 591
  • Age Limit: 18 years to 40 years
  • Selection Process: Selection process will be based on the marks scored by the candidate in the written examination and evaluation of academic qualifications of the candidates.

Eligibility Criteria

Before filling the application form it is necessary for the candidate to go through the eligibility criteria the candidate who will meets-up with all the eligibility criteria that candidate can fill the application form, the candidate who will not meet up with the eligibility criteria that candidate will not be selected for the any of the posts.   • Minimum 18 years (not born after 01.01.2000) and b) Maximum 40 years (not born before 02.01.1978) for Group C and Group D Staff.
  • Mode of limit of relaxation of upper-age for reserved candidates- SC/ST candidates relaxable by 5 years, OBC-A/OBC-B candidates relaxable by 3 years, Physically Disabled candidates relaxable by 8 years, Ex-Serviceman (General) candidate relaxable by 3 years after deduction of military service rendered from the actual age, Ex-Serviceman (OBC-A/OBC-B) candidates relaxable by 6 years after deduction of military service rendered from the actual age, Ex-Serviceman (SC/ST) candidates relaxable by 8 years after deduction of military service rendered from the actual age.
  • Candidate should have fluency in Bengali /English Language.
  • The age for the post of Group C will be calculated on the basis of the date of birth mentioned in the certificate or admit card of the Madhyamik Examination or its equivalent.
  • The age for the post of Group D staff will be calculated on the basis of date of birth mentioned in the Birth Certificate Page issued by the Birth Registrar of statutory local body or by the certificate issued by the Headmaster/Head-Mistress of a School, where the candidate actually studied, on the basis of date of birth mentioned in the Admission Register or Admit card of Madhyamik Examination or its equivalent.

Application Form

Admit Card

Exam pattern for Group C (CLERK)-

  • 80 multiple choice questions(MCQ’s) will come in the examination
  • Each question will carry one marks
  • The candidates will have to darken the circles with Black Ballpoint Pen for the correct response.
  • There will be no negative marking.
  • Duration of timing will be 1hour.
  • Written Examination (MCQ Type) will be of 80 Marks
  • Academic qualification including professional qualifications will be of 20 Marks.

Exam pattern for Group D

  • 60 multiple choice questions(MCQ’s) will come in the examination
  • Each question will carry one marks
  • The candidates will have to darken the circles with Black Ballpoint Pen for the correct response.
  • There will be no negative marking.
  • Duration of timing will be 1hour.

Answer Key

Answer Key will be released after the examination. Answer key will be released separately for Group C and Group D. From the answer key the candidate can estimate the scoring marks for estimating the correct score candidate need to follow the marking sheet criteria. Only the official answer key will be considered.

Result

The result will be based on the candidates scoring. On the basis of the scoring of the candidate, merit list will be prepared. after the examination, the result will be declared by the West Bengal Central School Service Commission Acharya Sadan. The candidates whose name will be there in the merit list that candidate will get selected. For two different posts, two different merit list will be prepared.
