CTET is a national level exam. It is conducted for applicants who want to teach primary and secondary classes. Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is responsible for conducting this exam on behalf of the Ministry of Human Resource Development. It is an offline exam. How to Calculate Marks Using CTET Answer Key 2019 Paper 1 Set R ?
CTET Paper 1 Exam Pattern 2019: Paper 1 of CTET 2019 consist of 150 Multiple Choice Questions. There are 5 parts in total with 30 MCQ’s in each part. One mark is awarded for every correct answer and there is no negative marking for any question.
- Part 1- Child Development and Pedagogy
- Part 2- Mathematics
- Part 3- EVS
- Part 4- Language I (English/ Hindi)
- Part 5- Language II (English/ Hindi)
To check the predicted score, match the answers in the CTET Answer Key 2019 Paper 1 Set R with that marked in the exam. Count the number of correct answers and it. The sum is your predicted score. All 150 questions in CTET are of 1 marks each and there is no negative marking. Hence,simply add 1 marks for each correct answer.
Total Marks= Total Number of Correct Answer * 1
Note: The official CTET 2019 Answer Key will be published after six or seven days of the exam date. Hence, the students need to score a minimum of 90 marks in order to clear the CTET Paper 1.
CTET 2019 Marks vs Cut Off
As per the CTET brochure, the minimum marks required to qualify the CTET 2019 Paper 1. However, the applicants need to score a minimum of 90 marks out of 150 to score 60%. For OBC/SC/ST, the minimum passing percentage is 55% (82 out of 150).
CTET 2019 Result

CTET Result July 2019 is announced on basis of final official answer key.
Once the candidates are done with the exam, they eagerly wait for their result to be out. CBSE releases the result for the CTET within 6 weeks of the exam date. The availability of the result is made on the official website. Through the result, the candidates come to know their qualifying status of the exam. In order to check the result, the students need to log in using their roll number in the login space on the official website. Once the candidates have checked the result, the qualifying students get a certificate which is valid for the upcoming seven years.

Step.2- After that, you need to click on the link for answer key at the bottom of the page.
Step.3- Once you will click on the link, a new page of login will appear.
Step.4- On that page, you need to fill in your roll number and date of birth in the login space provided on the page.
Step.5- After filling the details, click on the “Login” button.
Step.6- Click on the link for downloading the answer key.
Step.7- Your answer key pdf will get open. You can check the answers now.
How to Challenge the Official CTET Answer Key 2019 Paper 1 Set R ?
CBSE provides applicants with a chance to raise the objection against the answer key. If any student is having any doubt with any of the answers written in the answer key, then they can challenge that answer. In order to do the same, the applicants have to fill in the application form online. Except for the online challenge, no other form of the challenge will be accepted by the board. Along with the form, you also need to pay an amount of application fee of Rs.1000 per challenge. Students can follow the steps mentioned below to raise the objection.
Step.1- First of all, visit the official website of CTET.
Step.2- Click on the link to challenge the answer key at the bottom of the page.
Step.3- Once you will click on the link, a new page of instructions will appear.
Step.4- On that page, you need to select the question number for which you want to challenge.
Step.5- After that, click on the “Select for Challenge” button.
Step.6- Once you will click on the button, a new link will appear. Click on that link.
Step.7- After clicking on the link, you will be given 4 options for the particular question you have selected.
Step.8- You need to select the answer you think is correct.
Step.9- Once you are done with challenging, you need to pay the application charges.
Step.10- Students need to submit a challenge before the due date.

About CTET
Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) is a national level exam. The body responsible for conducting this exam is the Central Board of Secondary Education. CBSE conducts CTET twice a year on behalf of the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. In order to appear in CTET exam, the candidates need to qualify the TET exam first.
This year, the exam has been conducted in 20 languages in 97 cities all over India. It is an offline exam conducted for the candidates who want to do the teaching job in the future. There are two papers in this exam: Paper 1 and Paper 2. Paper 1 is conducted for applicants who want to apply for classes 1 to 5. Whereas, paper 2 is conducted for applicants of class 6 to 8. Both papers will take place for 2.5 hours. Paper 1 takes place in the morning and paper 2 takes place in the evening shift.
About CBSE
Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is a national level exam board managed by the Union Government of India. The board is responsible for conducting the class 10 and 12 examinations in the month of February and March every year. However, the result for the same is expected to be out in the month of May. Along with this, the board is also responsible for conducting National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET), Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET), UGC’s National Eligibility Test and the entrance test for Jawahar Navodaya Vidhyalayas.
