Why these repay repeated work

CTET has run for more than twenty editions on a stable structure — 150 marks, five sections, no negative marking — so past papers are an unusually good guide to what is coming. Child Development and Pedagogy in particular revisits the same themes in different wording year after year.

How to use them

1. Sit a full paper in one two-and-a-half-hour block.
2. Mark it — with no negative marking, leaving a question blank is never better than a considered guess.
3. Check whether you crossed 60%, the qualifying bar, and in which sections you lost most.
4. Repeat with a different edition to confirm the gap closed.

Do CTET papers come with answers?

Answer keys are on the site for many editions — the Answer Key column in the table marks those years, and the CTET answer key page has them all.

Why do some years have many more files?

Several editions are listed language by language, so you can open only the Language I and Language II papers you will choose.

What score do I need?

60%, or 90 of 150, is the TET pass mark; see the CTET result page for how results and certificates are issued.
