KSET 2020 Eligibility criteria
Candidates aspiring to be recruited as Assistant Professors in the State of Karnataka must qualify in KSET 2020. Check out the minimum eligibility criteria to appear in the KSET 2020 examination below.
There are no restrictions on the upper age limit to apply for KSET 2020. Candidates of all age can apply.
- Candidates having a Master’s Degree/ pursuing a Master’s Degree (1st or 2nd Semester)/ appeared for Master’s Degree (Final year) are eligible to apply for KSET 2020.
- Candidates must have secured a minimum marks of 55% in their Master’s degree to apply.
- SC/ST/PwD candidates must have minimum 50% marks in Master’s degree to apply.
- OBC Category I, IIA, IIB, IIIA, IIIB candidates must have minimum 50% marks in Master’s degree to apply.
- Ph. D candidates who completed Master’s degree before September 19, 1991 must have minimum 50% marks in Master’s degree to apply.
Important: Candidates pursuing Master’s Degree (1st or 2nd Semester)/appeared in Master’s Degree (Final year) are eligible under conditions that they submit their passing certificates. The maximum time allowed to submit passing certificates is 2 years from the date of KSET 2020 results.

KSET 2020 Application Process
How to apply
Candidates must visit the online portal of KSET to submit their application before the application window closes. KSET 2020 applications can only be made online through the payment of specified application fee. Check out below the complete step by step guide to apply for the KSET 2020 examination.
Step 1: Type kset.uni-mysore.ac.in at the address bar of web browser to visit the website. Alternatively, click on the application link provided here.
Step 2: Click on the “Apply Online” tab at the top right corner of the homepage.
Step 3: Click on the “Download notification” tab to read complete instructions. Or click the “Sign up for registration” tab to register.
Step 4: Enter all details in the required fields and click on the “register” tab to complete the registration process.
Step 5: Candidates must now enter all relevant personal, educational and KSET examination details.
Step 6: After filling the application form, proceed to upload the image files (photo and signature)
Step 7: Ensure all details are correctly entered and click on the declaration tab before clicking the “submit” tab.
Step 8: Proceed to the Payments page to select the payment category, mode of payment. (Generate bank challan if offline mode of payment is selected).
Step 9: Generate print out of the payment receipt and the application form at the last step following the final submission of the application form.

KSET 2020 Application Form Correction
KSET 2020 application form corrections can be made on the scheduled dates by logging in to the website. Candidates must ensure that all details furnished are correct at this stage. KSET application forms once submitted cannot be modified after the correction window closes.
KSET 2020 Exam Scheme

KSET 2020 Admit Card
