KSET 2020 Result
KSET 2020 result are published after the completion of the online examination and release of the answer key. Candidates who appear in both the papers and obtain the minimum qualifying marks (or above) are shortlisted for the final selection. The minimum qualifying marks is relaxed for reserved categories. Selection Procedure
As per the directive of the UGC, 6% of the total number of appearing candidates are qualified as eligible Assistant Professor. Candidates who appear in both the papers and secure the minimum qualifying marks are considered for such shortlisting. As per the directive, a merit list of the qualifying candidates is prepared according to the subject and category.
KSET Answer Key 2020
KSET Answer keys are released by the University of Mysore (KSET Center) at the official website after the exam. Candidates who find discrepancies in the provisional answer keys can raise objections against the same. However, such challenges must be backed by appropriate academic evidence and candidates must also ensure that they submit objections through links provided in the official website within due schedule only. Once the objection window is closed, the KSET final answer keys are released after evaluating the validity of the objections and rectifying any mistakes in the provisional answer keys.

KSET 2020 Admit Card
KSET 2020 aspirants can download admit cards from the official website as per schedule. KSTET Admit card releases on the official website i.e. kset.uni-mysore.ac.in. Candidates who submit their online applications are issued admit cards indicating the date, time, and examination center. It is advised that candidates must visit the website regularly to know when the admit card is released. KSET 2020 admit card is mandatory for entry into the examination hall. The candidates must carry a photo identity along the printed admit card issued by the KSET authority.

KSET 2020 Exam Pattern
KSET 2020 examination is conducted for two papers. All questions from Paper -I are compulsory based on general teaching and research aptitude. Paper-II questions are based on the selected subject. All questions are objective type and conducted on a pen and paper (offline) mode. There is no negative marking in the KSET 2020 examination. KSET is a state level examination and thousands of aspirants apply every year with dreams to obtain the KSET certificate and become eligible for recruitment as an Assistant Professor in the state of Karnataka. Therefore, it is extremely important that candidates must start preparing early to ensure that the entire syllabus is completed in due time. KSET 2020 Application Form

How to Apply?
Step 1: Type kset.uni-mysore.ac.in at the address bar of web browser and press enter.
Step 2: Click on the “Apply Online” tab at the top right corner of the homepage.
Step 3: Read the complete notification by downloading the same and then click on “sign up for registration”.
Step 4: Enter email, set password, provide mobile number, name, select gender and date of birth before clicking on the “Register” button to complete the registration process.
Step 5: Enter personal, academic and KSET exam details in the application form.
Step 6: Upload the scanned photograph and signature and go to the next step to make the payment of the application fees.
Step 7: Select the mode of payment and generate the print out of the receipt/bank challan.
Step 8: Click on “Submit” and take a print out of the application form for future reference.

KSET 2020 Eligibility Criteria

Age limit
There are no limitations on the upper age to be eligible for KSET 2020. Applicants of any age can apply to appear in the examination.
Educational qualification

Note: Candidates pursuing a Master’s Degree (1st or 2nd Semester)/appeared in the final year must produce their passing certificate within 2 years from the date of publication of KSET 2020 results.
Exemption
- Candidates who qualified in NET/SET/SLET are exempted under UGC governance.
- Candidates who qualified in SET before 01 June, 2002 are also exempted from KSET.
- Candidates who qualified in the UGC-NET/CSIR JRF examination before 1989 are exempted from KSET.
- Candidates who have obtained eligibility in previous KSETs are ineligible to appear in KSET
