LIC ADO Recruitment 2019 – The Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) has declared the result of LIC ADO 2019 Main examination at the official website, icindia.in. The result is available in pdf format containing the roll numbers of the shortlisted candidates for interview. There are total 8581 vacancies for the post of Apprentice Development Officer. The selection of the candidates will be done through the preliminary, main, followed by an Interview of candidates who qualify in the online test and subsequent pre-recruitment Medical examination. As per Employment Notification, Examination for Agents and Employee category will be held on Aug 10, 2019 (Main Exam only) and the call letter for them will be available one week before Main Exam.

Result

LIC ADO 2019 result is declared online on the official website. Candidates need to keep a proper track of the LIC ADO 2019 result by visiting the website regularly. The result for LIC ADO is declared for different phases. The process starts with a declaration of the LIC ADO 2019 Prelims result. After the declaration of prelims result the Main Examination Result is declared on the official website. After the mains result the shortlisted candidates will be called for interview. Final result will be published after the conduction of all phases.

LIC ADO Main Exam Postponed

LIC ADO Main Examintaion has been postpones in all the centre. The exam is scheduled to take place on September 22, 2019. The admit card for the same is now uploaded at the official webiste.

Admit Card / Call Letter

Admit Card / Call Letter for LIC ADO 2019 has been released online at the official website of LIC i.e. http://www.licindia.in. Candidates who submitted the online application form of LIC ADO 2019 on time along with the fee will only be eligible to download their admit card for LIC ADO 2019. Call letter is made available by submitting the required details at the LIC portal. Admit Card / Call Letter is an important document for the exam point of view.

First, the conducting body releases the admit card for prelims examination of LIC ADO 2019. Then after admitting card for the main examination is made available. Candidates who will qualify the prelims examination will only be allowed to download the main examination admit card. Call letters will not be dispatched by post or any other mode. Examination Pattern

Selection of Apprentice Development Officer from Open Market Category will be done through two-phase examination.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Candidates should ensure that the educational qualification possessed by them shall be as per the prescribed educational qualifications mentioned in the advertisement and they fulfill the above eligibility criteria. No equivalent educational qualification shall be considered as eligible.

Preference may be given to those applicants who have good knowledge of insurance marketing and also those who possess Masters Degree in Business Administration in Marketing or Post-Graduate Diploma in Marketing from a University in India established under a statute or by an Institute approved by All India Council for Technical Education or a recognized Institution.

Note: Candidates should ensure that the educational qualification possessed by them shall be as per the prescribed educational qualifications mentioned in the advertisement and they fulfill the above eligibility criteria. No equivalent educational qualification shall be considered as eligible.

Age Limit: 

The applicant shall have completed 21 years of age and not more than 30 years of age as on May 01, 2019 i.e candidates must have been born not earlier than May 01, 1989 and not later than May 01, 1998 (both days inclusive) as on 01.05.2019.

The upper age limit as on May 01, 2019 of an applicant belonging to a group given below, shall not exceed the age mentioned below:-

Other Preference would be given to candidates who have at least 2 years experience in the life insurance industry.

For the removal of doubts, it is clarified that the spouse of an agent shall not be eligible for recruitment as an Apprentice Development Officer.

Application Form

LIC ADO Application Form 2019 is made available by the authority. To apply online for LIC Apprentice Development Officer 2019, candidates have to visit the official website of LIC i.e. http://www.licindia.in. Application Form can be filled only in online mode only. Before filling the online application form candidates must ensure their eligibility criteria for the recruitment. Application form after the last date will not be entertained by the conducting authority. Admit Card for LIC ADO 2019 will be available only for those who fill the application form on time. Application Fee:

The candidate will have to make the payment of Application Fees/Intimation Charges (Non-refundable) through On-line mode only as under:

  • For SC/ST Candidates: Rs.50/- plus Transaction Charges.
  • Other than SC/ST Candidates: Rs.600/- plus Transaction Charges.

Mode of Payment: The application form is integrated with the payment gateway and the payment process can be completed by following the instructions.

  • The payment can be made by using Debit Cards (RuPay/Visa/MasterCard/Maestro), Credit Cards, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards/ Mobile Wallets.

Selection Procedure

Selection will be made on the basis of the online test followed by an Interview of candidates who qualify in the online test and subsequent pre-recruitment Medical examination.

Candidate must obtain minimum qualifying marks in each Section separately and should also obtain minimum marks in the aggregate to qualify for the examinations (Preliminary and Main) and the interview. The minimum marks to be obtained in each paper and in the aggregate shall be decided by LIC of India.

The scores obtained by each of the candidates in different sessions (if held) will be normalized using the equi-percentile equating method. There will be no penalty for wrong answers. However, candidates are advised not to mark answers through random guessing.

Interview:

Marks obtained in the Main Examination only will be considered for shortlisting for interview and marks obtained in Main Examination + marks obtained in Interview will be considered for final merit listing of candidates. Commensurate to the number of vacancies, LIC reserves the right to fix the eligibility standards in order to restrict the candidates to be called for interview and also fix the minimum marks to qualify in the interview. Maximum Interview marks are 37.

Pre-Recruitment Medical Examination:

The selected candidate will be appointed as Apprentice Development Officer subject to him/her being found medically fit by the Medical Examiner authorized by LIC for the purpose.

Recruitment Notifications are being issued by all Zonal Offices. The candidate shall apply to one Division only.

Guarantee Bond

Before joining as Apprentice Development Officer, candidates will be required to give an undertaking to serve the Corporation for a minimum period of four years from the date of joining (including apprenticeship period) failing which he/she or his/her heirs, executors, administrators will be liable to pay liquidated damages of ₹ 25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand only) to the Corporation. The candidate will have to submit an Indemnity Bond of ₹ 25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand only) duly stamped and executed by a Surety of sound financial standing and not related to the candidate. The stamp value of the Bond will be as applicable to the State in which the bond is executed.
