Meghalaya TET Application Form 2022: Directorate of Educational Research and Training of the state of Meghalaya (DERT, Meghalaya) releases the Meghalaya TET application form 2022 online at megeducation.gov.in. For a candidate to be eligible for applying in Meghalaya TET, they must be a citizen of India and a permanent resident of Meghalaya. Candidates must also possess graduation and a diploma in education with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate(45% for reserved categories). Meghalaya Teachers Eligibility Test is held statewide every year by the Directorate of Educational Research and Training, Meghalaya to recruit teachers for primary level classes within the state of Meghalaya.

Meghalaya TET 2022 Application Fee
The application fee as specified below should be remitted by the candidate along with the application form for the application process to be considered complete. Failing to submit the fee within the period allotted will lead to rejection of the application. Candidates can apply for both Papers – Paper I and Paper II if they wish to.

Documents required to submit MTET Application Form 2022
Below given are the list of documents to be uploaded by the candidate while applying for MTET 2022.
- Candidates are asked to upload their passport size photograph in color along with a scanned copy of their signature.
- Candidates should also upload their certificates of educational qualifications as proof of their eligibility.
- The certificates required are 10th level certificate, Senior Secondary Certificate(10+2), Graduation Certificate.
- Caste certificate should be uploaded to avail reservation. Also disability certificate should be uploaded in case of PH candidates.
- The format and size requirements for the image is 3.5x4cm and in jpg or jpeg format.
How to Submit MTET 2022 application form

Offline mode
- Visit the official website of MTET at http://www.megeducation.gov.in
- Click ‘Directorate of Educational Research & Training’ link
- Find and click on ‘Application Form: MTET 2021 Application form for UP or LP’ link
- Download for the Meghalaya TET application form will start
- Fill the application form.
- Paste the candidate’s recent passport size photo (3.5×4cm) Photograph. Write name and Form No. on its rear.
- Sign below the photograph within the box provided with black ball point pen
- Submit the application form and remit the fee in cash at the respective DERT/DIET centre.
Online mode
- Visit http://www.megeducation.gov.in
- Click on ‘Online Application for MTET 2021’
- Select the paper(s) the candidate wish to appear in.
- Fill in the details and click on declaration
- Enter the verification code and click on submit
- Save the acknowledgement slip that contains the Application Number
- Payment of the application fees can be paid online using the application number.

What after Meghalaya TET 2022 Application process is over?
Once the candidate’s application form is accepted, they can visit megeducation.gov.in and download their admit card, when it is released. The admit card for MTET will have information such as the candidate’s full name, photograph, signature, the date, time and venue of the exam etc. Candidates should carry the print out of the MTET admit card along with an original photo identity proof to the exam venue. These will be verified at the time of examination.
