NABARD Grade A Syllabus and Exam Pattern 2020
The exam pattern of NABARD Grade A Assistant Manager (RDBS/Rajbhasha/Legal) is given below:
Phase I – Preliminary Examination
The preliminary examination to be conducted in online mode. It consists of total 200 marks questions. The duration of paper is 120 minutes.

General Awareness | 20 marks |

Economic & Social Issues (with focus on Rural India) | 40 marks |

Phase II – Mains Examination
The main examination consists of multiple choice questions and descriptive pattern.
Paper I- General English: It consists of Descriptive quetioons i.e, writing skills – online through keyboard).
The candidate’s analytical and drafting skills are tested through this General English Descriptive Paper which includes essay writing, comprehension, report writing, paragraph writing and letter writing.
Duration of the exam: 1 ½ hrs
Total Marks: 100 marks
Note: It is Common for Grade ‘A’ – RDBS, Rajbhasha and Legal)
Paper–II: It consists of multiple choice questions. Each paper is of 1 ½ hrs duration and of 100 marks,
Grade A (RDBS):
- General Discipline: Economic & Social Issues and Agriculture & Rural Development (with focus on Rural India)
- Specialized Discipline: Paper on related discipline
Grade A Rajbhasha:
Expertise in Hindi including English to Hindi translation and vice versa. The candidate’s analytical and drafting skills will also be measured from the concise paper.
Grade A (Legal Services):
The paper will be based on skills in interpreting various laws, including banking, corporate, negotiable instruments industrial and rural non-life insurance, personnel concerns, cooperative laws, cyber laws, trade / property transactions, direct finance, and good experience in writing different types of papers.
