RPSC RAS (Rajasthan Administrative Service) — the Rajasthan state civil services exam conducted by RPSC in three stages: Prelims, Mains and Interview.
RPSC RAS — the Rajasthan Administrative Service examination (RAS/RTS) — is the Rajasthan state civil services exam, conducted by the Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC). Through it the state fills posts of the RAS, the Rajasthan Police Service (RPS) and a range of state and subordinate services. It is a competitive exam decided by merit, in three stages: Preliminary, Main and Interview.

Exam pattern in brief
The Preliminary exam is a single objective paper of 200 marks, used only to screen candidates for the Mains. The Main exam has four descriptive papers of 200 marks each (800 total), and the Interview carries 100 marks. The final merit is drawn from the Mains and the Interview.
Eligibility and salary
A candidate must be a graduate, aged 21 to 40 years, with the usual relaxations. Selected RAS officers start at Pay Level 12 with a basic pay of about ₹56,100 plus allowances.
