District information slip is not the admit card

From 28 September 2026, candidates could log in with their OTR number and download the District Information Slip, which shows the district of their exam centre. The notice states clearly that this slip is not an admit card; it is advance information about the district where the centre is located.

How to download the HEO admit card

  1. Go to uppsc.up.nic.in; the advertisement lists "Download Admit Card" in the Candidate's Help Desk section.
  2. Enter your OTR number to download the admit card and the instructions.
  3. Check the district and centre printed on it; you must reach that centre on the fixed date and time.

What to carry and reporting rules

  • Two photographs, plus the original and a photocopy of your ID proof.
  • The photocopy of the ID proof is handed to the invigilator in the exam room.
  • Entry to the centre opens 1 hour 30 minutes before the scheduled start of the exam.
  • Entry closes 45 minutes before the scheduled start.

At this screening stage, the advertisement says candidates should not send the hard copy of documents or the online application to the Commission. Hard copies are submitted after the screening test or when asked.

Unfair means

The notice cites the Uttar Pradesh Public Examination (Prevention of Unfair Means) Act, 2024: using unfair means, copying, or leaking or conspiring to leak the question paper can attract a fine of up to ₹1 crore and imprisonment up to life.
