The admit card for SSC JE 2017 will be issued to candidates two weeks before the commencement of entrance examination. The SSC JE Admit Card will consist the details of the date, time and venue of the examination. Candidates can download the admit card from the website of the regional/sub-regional office. It will be mandatory for examinees to carry admit card to appear for the test.
Staff Selection Commission (SSC) conducts Junior Engineer (JE) examination to fill Group ‘B’ Non-Gazetted posts in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Quantity Surveying & Contract. For the purpose of selection of candidates, SSC conducts JE recruitment tier 1 and 2. Tier 1 is from 5th to 8th January and its admit card will be available first. Then after the declaration of result of SSC JE 2017 tier 1, tier 2 admit card will be available.
SSC Junior Engineer (JE) Admit Card 2017 – 2018
The SSC JE Admit Card 2017 is being issued online, on the regional website of the Commission. Only those candidates will be able to download it, who have applied in given duration. Also called as SSC JE Admission Ticket, the admit card will be required at the exam hall and during the final recruitment. Along with the admit card, examinees need to carry at least one original Photo ID such as Voter’s ID, Aadhaar Card, Driving License, ID cards issued by Government or other Offices where the candidates may be working.
Note: Candidates who will be appearing for the examination should also bring 3 passport size photographs for affixing it in the Commission’s copy of Admit Card in the presence of Invigilator if required.
If any candidate does not receive the admit card for the examination before the date of examination, immediately contact the concerned regional/sub regional office(s) of the commission with details such as registration id, transaction id etc. for obtaining the admission certificates.
SSC JE Examination Preparation
The Paper I of Junior Engineer will be computer-based test. Candidates will have 2 hours to solve the paper, which will carry 200 marks. The paper will be divided into below mentioned three sections.

- Any one of these
- Part A General Engineering (Civil & Structural)
- Part-B General Engineering (Electrical)
- Part-C General Engineering (Mechanical)

Discrepancy in SSC JE Admit Card 2018
If there is any error in the admit card then the candidates may contact SSC. The Commission guides that one must write his / her Roll number along with the name, date of birth and name of the examination while addressing any communication to the concerned regional office of the Commission.
