Goa TET Admit Card July 2026: Download, Biometric, Exam Day Rules

The GTET July 2026 admit card was issued through the Goa Board's online GTET application system before the examination of 21 and 22 July 2026, and that session is over. Keep the printed card: the Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (GBSHSE) asks qualified candidates to produce the GTET hall ticket when they collect their certificates, which it has been handing out from 8 October 2026.

How was the GTET July 2026 admit card downloaded?

Candidates got an e-mail when the admit card was ready. The July 2026 information bulletin then set out four steps:

1. Go to gbshse.in, open the "Services" tab and select "GTET Application Form Filling - JULY 2026".
2. Log in with the same credentials created at registration; you land on your Dashboard.
3. Scroll to the "Admit Cards" section at the bottom of the Dashboard and click the download button.
4. Log out after downloading, to keep the account secure.

The December 2025 session worked differently. Candidates logged in at a separate address, gtetdec25.azurewebsites.net, and used a "Pay and Download Admit Card" button: the examination fee was paid at that point, and the admit card came after payment.

Biometric capture before the exam

For July 2026, biometric capture and training was scheduled on 17 and 18 July 2026, from 14:00 to 18:00 hrs, at the allotted exam centres, with each candidate's slot sent by e-mail or mobile. Candidates had to bring the admit card and ID proof. Enrolling biometric data was mandatory to sit the exam, and the same visit included training on the exam environment. The centres were in Mapusa, Ponda and Margao.

What if something on the GTET admit card is wrong?

If the particulars, photograph or signature on the admit card differ from your confirmation page, the bulletin tells you to contact the GBSHSE unit immediately. Earlier, the Board allowed one round of corrections — name, father's and mother's names, date of birth, category, differently-abled category and the Paper II subject — from 12 to 15 July 2026, by e-mail to [email protected] with a reason and supporting document. The GTET helpline is 1800 102 5012 (10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday to Friday); if your confirmation page was not generated after paying, the bulletin gives 02048555507 as well as the same e-mail.

GTET exam-day rules

• The centre opens 60 minutes before the exam; gates close 30 minutes before it, and no one is let in after that.
• Carry a printed admit card and a valid photo ID such as an Aadhaar card, passport or driving licence. Without a valid admit card the Centre Superintendent will not admit you under any circumstances.
• Everyone goes through a security check before the exam; a candidate who does not cannot appear.
• Not allowed inside: printed or written material other than the admit card and ID; snacks and beverages (drinking water is provided); geometry box, calculator, scale, eraser, log table, pen drive; mobile phones, Bluetooth devices, earphones, health bands; watches, cameras, wallets, goggles and handbags. The centre will not store any of these.
• Smoking, chewing gutka and spitting in the hall are prohibited.
• Differently-abled candidates may get 30 minutes of compensatory time in each paper, preferably with ground-floor seating; there is no separate question paper for visually impaired candidates.

GTET admit card release in past cycles

None of the three bulletins or notices gives a fixed admit-card release date in advance; each says only that admit-card notifications will be issued before the examination, so watch gbshse.in and your e-mail.
